Oosterpark

The Oosterpark has been one of Amsterdam's recognized outdoor meeting places (homo-ontmoetingsplaats) for decades — city council records list it among the official ones, and the police LGBTQ+ unit Roze in Blauw keeps an eye on it rather than against it. Activity concentrates in the wooded parts on the Mauritskade side and east of the pond, from early evening onward; by day this is an ordinary neighbourhood park full of joggers and families. Trams 3, 7 and 14 stop at the gates. Standard park rules apply: after dark only, keep it out of sight of passers-by, take your litter home. Report any harassment to Roze in Blauw via 0900-8844.
