Rick’s

It's getting increasingly tacky and the waiters are less and less professional. Gone are the days of Ricks' reopening, when the atmosphere and service were impeccable. Now the waiters are off in their own world, chatting amongst themselves, while I, having paid a whopping 12 euros for a drink, have to wait around while they tell each other about their encounter with a customer the day before. One of the waiters was yelling like a lunatic, shouting at someone named Pedro or Peter—with all due respect to lunatics, and I say lunatic because that's how he described himself. And Carlos was just standing there, acting like nothing was happening. A couple was kissing, and the waiter who described himself as "crazy" started yelling at them again, all in a mocking way! Like I said, the professionalism and seriousness of the club are long gone.

The short waiter at the bar on the steps is the rudest and most ill-mannered person you'll ever meet. The place is always packed. Be careful.

The DJ is amazing...he's worth his weight in gold.

We loved the DJ... super danceable music, very diverse. He had a great vibe, as did the waiters.

The music at Rick's has been disappointing me lately; there's not as much variety anymore, and a lot of people are saying so. There's a lot of competition, and I think Rick's is going downhill. Around 3 a.m., we went to another place next door; we were fed up with the terrible music. Carlos, get your act together!

At the beginning of December, I went to check out the place with a friend. When we arrived, we had to go through an area to leave our coats, and we were given excellent service by the Gisi girls. Afterward, I went to the bar to order drinks and greeted a guy. Another guy, who wasn't the one I greeted and whose service I hadn't requested, got between us and started threatening me. He claimed I had said something wrong or was mistreating the other guy, which wasn't the case. The guy who treated me badly is Brazilian, and despite telling him that maybe he had misunderstood me because I don't speak perfect Spanish, he just pointed at me and threatened me. Afterward, out of embarrassment, I went to apologize to the other guy, and he simply told me, "I don't care who you are or what you said." So, on top of being mistreated by the other guy, he apologized for nothing, and the guy almost bit me! This place needs more people like Gisi. I'm never going back!

Great music, compared to the garbage they play in 95% of the places, with the idiocy of reggaeton, it's appreciated that they play varied music, the DJ is very nice.

Entry until November 2025: €12 with 2 beers or 1 mixed drink. The girl at the cloakroom asked us for a review last night, and here we are. We're Carlos and Rodrigo. We've been coming to this place almost every weekend since September, and it's been 3 months now, so we've waited long enough to write a well-informed review. The bouncers have always treated us with the utmost respect. To avoid queues, we always recommend arriving around 11:00 PM when they open, buying your ticket, and then leaving without having to wait in line. The bartenders are very friendly and always cracking jokes. But the star is the girl at the cloakroom, of course. She always treats us with such kindness. A highly recommended place for everyone. It's at its best between 1:00 and 3:00 AM. After that, there's a period when it's completely packed and you feel overwhelmed, but it's worth it because it picks up again after a little while. It's always the same on Fridays and Saturdays. We highly recommend it! A big hug to the team!

Danceable, retro music, just the way I like it. It's like stepping into a time machine. The DJ is one of the best in Madrid 🇪🇸

It's a shame that a long-established business hires a doorman who has no idea about manners or the rules of this country. He's rude, ill-mannered, and a despot. I arrived around 5:00 AM and he yelled at me, telling me to go home because he didn't want any more people in the place. I think it's completely out of line, especially since I'm not drunk or high and the closing time is 6:00 AM. Very bad. I'm going to file a complaint about the way this person treated me.
