Good beach

The beach is nice, there are two beach bars, but the sand is a bit dirty because there are a lot of wood chips from the grilled sardines at the bar, and there are also a lot of stones on the shore. That's what I don't like. The water is a bit cold when you first get in, but it's fine after that.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING NUDISM: If you are not comfortable with nudism or are looking for a clothing-optional beach, this is not the beach for you. Although there is a designated "nudist zone" with a sign, it's important to clarify that, according to the law, the entire beach is suitable for nudism. It's striking (and quite frustrating) to see how clothed people constantly walk around the designated nudist area without respecting the space and privacy of those of us who prefer to be naked; however, if a nudist walks towards the area with more clothing, the typical comment or complaint about "not allowed there" quickly arises. A little consistency, courtesy, and mutual respect would be very welcome. Beach characteristics and conditions: * Sand and sea: The sand is the typical dark and coarse sand of the Malaga area, tending towards gravel at the water's edge, so it's not the softest for walking barefoot. The water is usually clean, although the entrance to the sea has a steep drop-off and gets deep quickly. * Areas and atmosphere: It's divided between the more family-friendly/clothes-only area (near the beach bars and main access points) and the nudist section that extends towards the mouth of the Guadalhorce River. * Crowds: Very busy on summer weekends, but much quieter and more spacious during the week, allowing you to maintain distance without feeling overwhelmed. Useful tips and advice: * 🚗 Parking: There are parking areas near the resort, but they fill up quickly during peak hours. Arrive early or be prepared to circle around a bit. * ✈️ Planes: It's right next to Malaga Airport, so planes fly very low. If you enjoy aviation, it's a fantastic sight; if you're looking for absolute silence, keep that in mind. * * 👟 Footwear: Water shoes or closed flip-flops are ideal for getting in and out of the water without hurting your feet on the pebbles on the shore. * 💨 Wind: Because it's a very open beach, windy days from the east or west are quite noticeable.

At the Sol Hotel – not very wide, dark, and rocky. We happened to be there one day, and there were waves, so we had a lot of fun. But if I were to stay there longer, it definitely wouldn't be worth it.

Very easy to park, but the day we went the water was terribly dirty...
