Hotel Novano

A special experience in Istanbul, a boutique hotel, very quiet, located in the old historical center! Great location 2-3 minutes from the Blue Mosque, 4-5 minutes from other important sights: Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern and in the immediate vicinity of the Sultanahmet tram station. The hearty breakfast, with many delicious traditional products, freshly cooked in the morning. I also really liked the street it was located on, with many terraces, souvenir shops and pastries but quiet, without heavy traffic. The staff was particularly kind and smiling, the room was impeccably clean, clean sheets, towels as well, I had the impression that they changed them daily! And what is very important, the quality/location/price ratio is more than excellent! Thank you Novano Hotel, we will definitely meet on our next visit to Istanbul!

Excellent value for money. Close to the best spots, simple rooms but with everything you need. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff, especially the receptionist Turan. I would definitely return.

The guy at the reception is extremely rude and unwelcoming. We never had problems with hospitality in Istanbul before, but this was extreme.

We had to move from another hotel, I found this hotel spontaneously, they showed us the room upon request. Very clean, with nice furniture. The staff is kind and helpful, the room was cleaned, made up and we got fresh towels after just one night. The breakfast is delicious and simple. The hotel is not big, but it met all our needs! If you don't like stairs, look for another place.

A small and welcoming hotel in the heart of Istanbul's old European quarter, very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Just a five-minute walk from a tram stop, making it easy to get to other parts of the city. Breakfast is adequate; however, if you're staying several nights, it might become a bit repetitive. The hotel is quite quiet, and the staff are always happy to assist you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

My wife and I got lucky finding this hotel. We stayed there 4 nights in October 2025. It's in a great location on a walking street with some light traffic, mostly taxis. There are lots of restaurants, pubs and small grocery stores nearby. We were very happy with Omer, the person who checked us in. In the evenings we spent time on the outdoor patio drinking wine and visiting with Omer. At first, we were using paper cups, but then I asked Omer if there were glasses we could use and he immediately went into the kitchen and got us two wine glasses. We truly enjoyed our stay there.

If you're looking for a simple, clean hotel in a great location, this is the right place. It's close to the Bosphorus and Istanbul's main tourist attractions. The rooms are standard but clean, the breakfast is good, and the only downside is the lack of an elevator, but that's a minor issue. The staff are incredibly friendly.

Thank you for the warm welcome, it was like visiting family! The rooms are spotlessly clean, with fresh linens every day. Double doors perfectly isolate the noise from the hallway. Delicious breakfasts prepared with love. Traditional Turkish appetizers, olives, cheeses, vegetables, homemade jams, and pickles. Pastries. Sometimes pancakes, sometimes crepes. In short, every day is a new delicious discovery! There are no kettles in the rooms, but there is a corner in the lobby where you can make tea, coffee, and enjoy pastries throughout the day. Ideally located in the heart of the action. Close to the tram and the Havaist stop (shuttle from Ist Airport). The surrounding area is full of restaurants and shops.
