UK Black Pride is Europe's largest celebration for LGBTQ+ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and Latin American descent, held each summer in London. The event was founded in 2005 to create a space within the LGBTQ+ movement for people whose experiences of racism and homophobia are inseparable, and it has grown into one of the most important and joyful events in the UK's queer calendar. The atmosphere is electric, the music is extraordinary, and the sense of community is unlike anything else.
