Calhau Praia Hotel

Calhau Praia Hotel is right on Avenida Litorânea, facing Calhau beach. Its site lists the Trapiche restaurant with a sea view, a pool overlooking the beach, a sauna, a gym, a massage room, a games room and a bar. Breakfast is included in every rate, there's parking, and the reception staff speak English. The Litorânea promenade is the city's main seafront walk, and the Pride parade has used it in recent years. It's about 10 km from the Centro Histórico, so plan on app rides for nights out. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue.
