Our experience at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana was simply incredible. Without a doubt, this hotel met and exceeded all our expectations. From day one, we received excellent service from the entire staff. The facilities are beautiful, the food was delicious, and the entertainment maintained a fun and energetic atmosphere for the whole family. However, what impressed us most was our daughter's experience at the Explorer's Club. The team, made up of Mohana, Candy, Raimbon, and Lindura, did an exceptional job. Thanks to their dedication, care, and enthusiasm, our daughter eagerly awaited each day to spend time with them and participate in all the activities they organized. They made her feel special, safe, and happy throughout our entire stay. As parents, there is nothing more precious than seeing our children enjoy themselves so much, and we owe many of those beautiful memories to this wonderful team. Thank you to all the staff at Dreams Macao Beach for an unforgettable vacation. We definitely hope to return in the future. ❤️🏝️☀️

I've never seen a place as beautiful as this! The rooms are wonderful, the pools are incredible, and the restaurants are delicious. Congratulations to all the staff who make this place magical! They were always smiling and willing to help. Even without speaking the same language, they always managed to serve us very well. Especially: Maria and Nikuara (I don't know if that's how you spell it) and the guys who were at the bar inside the pool. The only thing that made me a little sad was that whenever I wanted shrimp at the lunch buffet, it was always out 💔 I will definitely come back many more times.

Our stay at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana was absolutely incredible, and a huge part of that was because of three amazing employees: Rossy, Moses, and our butler, Manuel. This was our first time visiting the Dominican Republic, and from the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely welcomed and at home. As two women traveling together, we were not sure what to expect on our first visit, but thanks to these three incredible individuals, we felt comfortable, cared for, and safe throughout our entire stay. Rossy and Moses, who worked at the Preferred Club Adults-Only Pool, were always attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. What impressed us most was how quickly they got to know us. They remembered our favorite drinks, anticipated what we might enjoy, and offered recommendations that we absolutely loved. It was those personal touches that made us feel special and truly valued as guests. They never made us feel like just another room number. They treated us like friends. I especially want to recognize Rossy for the incredible impact she had on our stay. Rossy wasn’t actually assigned to us, but you would never have known that by the way she treated us. She went out of her way to check on us, make sure we were having a great time, and help us whenever we needed anything. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel like family rather than guests. She has such a beautiful personality and a true gift for hospitality. Even though she wasn’t directly responsible for us, she consistently went above and beyond, and that level of dedication deserves to be recognized. Moses was equally wonderful. He was always welcoming, attentive, and eager to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Together, Rossy and Moses created such a warm and fun atmosphere at the Preferred Club pool that it became one of our favorite places at the resort. Our butler, Manuel, was nothing short of an angel. He anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and made every part of our stay seamless and stress-free. What truly stood out was how much he genuinely cared about our experience. On multiple occasions, he met us at restaurants just to make sure we found our way there, got seated properly, and didn’t run into any issues. He constantly checked in on us and made sure everything was perfect. As two women traveling alone, Manuel made us feel incredibly safe. He truly felt like a guardian angel during our stay. Knowing he was looking out for us gave us peace of mind and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our vacation. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for our well-being will never be forgotten. What stood out most was not just their professionalism, but the warmth and kindness they showed every single day. They took the time to get to know us, made us feel valued, and truly cared about making our vacation special. Because of them, our trip became so much more than just a vacation. It felt like visiting friends and family. Rossy, Moses, and Manuel are the reason we will return to this resort and to the Dominican Republic. They represented both Dreams Macao and their country with pride, class, kindness, and genuine hospitality. As first-time visitors to the Dominican Republic, they made us fall in love with the people, the culture, and the incredible hospitality the country has to offer. If every guest receives the level of service we experienced from these three individuals, Dreams Macao will continue to have guests returning year after year. They are true assets to the resort and should be recognized for the outstanding work they do. Thank you, Rossy, Moses, and Manuel, for making our first visit to the Dominican Republic unforgettable. We came as guests, but because of you, we left feeling like family. We cannot wait to come back and see you again.

I stayed here last May and was very pleased; the hotel is good and the service is excellent. I must highlight two young buffet workers for their professionalism and wonderful service: Rodolfo and Rafael. Thank you very much to them for their service.

I just came back home from.this resort yesterday. It was simply beautiful. Most of the staff was so energetic and eager to help. Marisol at the spa gave me a beautiful massage. Lucy and Zoe made sure entertainment was top tier and Victor kept the the wedding reception going. This place as a whole was a beautiful experience and I would even come back. So now that I have said that I will say this rosemary in the preferred lounge has a VERY nasty attitude. Extremely combative and dismissive for SIMPLE request such as a copy of my key card. I never have to see her again in life. Francisco our personal concierge. Was not present at allll I literally dont know what he gets paid for. And the swim up bartender would literally ignore the blacks in the pool. I dont ever make things about race but it blantly obvious when groups I didnt come with had the same commentary. Last but not least my cousin was racially profiled (not by the resort) but guest at the resort saying they felt uncomfortable because he was walking around in a towel. (Swim shorts underneath) when we are literally surrounded by water. The probelm is security brought it to our attention as if everyone wasnt walking around in swim suits. They was nice and professional about it. Just giving my full experience. I would definitely go back there though. It was worth every penny spent. Special thanks to Marisol victory Zoe and LUCY!!!!! Dreams Macao Beach Resort was absolutely amazing and such a beautiful property from start to finish. The beach was gorgeous, and with no seaweed, the ocean was so enjoyable and perfect! The nightly entertainment was fantastic, and the staff made the experience even better with how friendly and welcoming they were. A special shout out to Little Dancer, who was truly exceptional and brought so much fun and energy to the resort. We especially LOVED the Preferred Club adults-only pool. Moises and Rosy went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They took the time to get to know us and made sure every little detail was taken care of, from where we wanted to lounge every day and what drinks we preferred, which made us feel so well cared for and appreciated. If we had any issue at all, the staff handled it quickly and kindly, always making things right. Their level of service really stood out and made this one of the most enjoyable stays we have had.

Awful stay. Became extremely ill, tried to inform manager - nothing. Illness was almost certainly down to food hygiene and safety. Served frozen food in seaside grill and out of date food in the buffet. Bar Staff, service and pool team were amazing. But unfortunately being ill for 10 days of the holiday has ruined this for us.

VIP guests because of our daughter’s wedding party size. 31 rooms, 71 wedding guests, and lots of $$ spent. We’ve been in the VIP check-in lounge for 2.5 hours trying to get a room upgrade situated (and still here). Not the check in experience you’d expect.

I took my family here for a relaxing vacation. The staff, outside the reception area, were amazing. The reception and concierge staff, not so much. We had some issues with one of the two rooms we had, which they didn't resolve until our final night. Overall it was a great vacation, that is, until it was time to leave. We had paid for a shuttle service to and from the airport to the resort and back. It was an all inclusive and I had it paid in advance way ahead of the trip. Before they would allow my family to go to the shuttle, they insisted I needed to check out. I go to the reception desk and they ask for $140. No bill. No explanation. I pay for it figuring I'll take it up with the travel agent when I get home because I don't want to miss our flight. The shuttle driver waits for a couple other people who never show up. He drives down to the security gate and this is where it gets real bad. The security won't let him leave with us and instructs him to take us back to reception. 4 men approach the van with the reception guy I already paid. They open the door to the van and demand I go with them to pay more charges. At this point I'm afraid for my family especially being in a foreign nation so I just agree to go with them. They force me to pay another $700, with no itemized charges or explanation, before they would allow us to leave to catch our flight. Upon returning home I immediately contacted Hyatt. It's been over a week and it's crickets from them. We've emailed and talked to two people who just say they'll escalate the issue. I only gave it 2 stars because the staff were friendly and the ocean views were beautiful. Food is bad. They also litter the resort with annoying pushy people selling cheap jewelry so when you're trying to just grab a drink and relax you're getting harassed by sales people.
