Really well curated store from furniture and home decor. Every time I stop in I find something new for my house. They also have a really great selection of eyewear. They carry designer brands like Loewe, Celine, and Thierry Larsy. Steven and Tony are always helpful with suggestions and have a great eye for products!

My husband and I have been going to iD Chicago for the past three years eye exams and glasses. The eye ware collections the carry are amazing, for men and women. We love the personalized support we get from the owners when choosing colors and styles. It makes the process seamless and fun. Highly recommended.

This gallery/boutique was recommended to me by the ultra cool folks at Robin Richman down the street. iD is dripping with unique, functional objects to elevate your home decor, and they have plenty of small, affordable items if you need a birthday gift (vintage MCM ashtray, $45) or hostess gift (groovy black beeswax candlesticks, $25). Best of all they're hiding an extensive collection of designer eye wear (eyeglasses frames and sunglasses) in the back of the shop. I moved here from NYC and iD's eye wear collection is the first to impress me. Plus nobody THIS cool in NYC would be as warm and kind as Steve and Tony were while helping me. So if you're halfway cool, get in there and they will help you finish the journey. Steve and Tony obviously love what they do, and the very special universe they've created is not to be missed. TLDR: Best for something special for your own home, affordable unique gifts and super cool eye wear.

Over the past four years we have been searching for the perfect couch that suited us the best. We have been to every furniture place in Chicago multiple times. Every season we also hit all of the Chicago’s suburbs- I am not kidding. Name a place, we have been there more than once. iD Chicago truly hit the nail on the head and Steven & Tony are the absolute best! If you are looking for quality made furniture with character and a designer look, head here. They have a great collection of beautiful pieces and objects of you aren’t looking for furniture. Steven helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I had been searching for a dining table for a year and couldn’t find the exact finish and design for my space. Decided to make a small compromise on an Ethnicraft product and when I went into the shop to order, Steven alerted me to a new table Ethnicraft was soon to release. It is perfect, and I would have bought the wrong thing if it hadn’t been for his inside knowledge. Score one for the personal service and knowledge of a dealer and small business owner. I’m thrilled with the product and can’t recommend iD highly enough.

I had a really positive experience buying eyeglasses from iD Chicago. Steven and Tony were exceedingly kind and helped me pick out new glasses in a way that was both honest and helpful. The optometrist that I saw for my eye exam, Dr. Solanki, was also very kind and professional. I will definitely be going back next year for new frames.

I love this boutique. I have found everything from my favorite glasses to a giant vintage disco ball here! I also got an eye exam here. The owners are so friendly and helpful, and the exam was thorough and professional. I can't wait to pop in and see what they have new for the spring/summer.
