Very disappointing stay. The room was outdated and not well maintained. I found dead bugs in the room and bathroom which made the space feel dirty. Also wasn’t aware that valet parking is mandatory and costs $54 per night which was an unpleasant surprise. There was only one elevator operating due to construction, leading to long waits and inconvenience throughout our stay. Between the condition of the room and the extra parking cost this hotel did not provide the experience we expected, would not stay here again

After an absolute nightmare experience at another Cleveland hotel that left me scrambling with my toddlers after a 12-hour drive, Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown literally saved my trip. I had not been back home in Ohio in 6 years and was in town for my little sister’s graduation. The last thing I needed was more stress. Hotel Indigo delivered in every single way. The cleanliness was impeccable, not a single complaint. The room was spotless, relaxing, and exactly what was advertised. The staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. You could feel the care and professionalism in everything they did. This hotel turned what started as one of the most frustrating travel experiences of my life into a truly memorable trip. My sister’s graduation weekend was saved and I have Hotel Indigo to thank for that. If you are visiting Cleveland, do not hesitate. This is exactly what a hotel experience should feel like. I will absolutely be back.

Well located and very clean hotel at the heart of the city. We stayed at the 1 bedroom suite.

I love staying at Hotel Indigo when attending events at Rocket Arena! The location is ideal and the staff is friendly. Rooms are quiet and beds are comfy. When the elevator repairs are finished, it will be even better. Thx IHG ❤️

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had and completely inconsistent with what I expected from an IHG property. Issues experienced during our stay: • Visibly soiled mattress, bloody and yellow stained sheets - absolutely disgusting • Confirmed King + sleeper sofa room was not honoured despite arriving before check-in • Told our booked room was now unavailable and a rollaway bed would have to work instead of the sleeper sofa (for a guest who is 6’5”) • Hotel renovations were not properly disclosed prior to arrival • Elevators stopped working during our stay and we were required to walk 6 flights of stairs multiple times • Despite someone in our group having a knee injury, we were unwillingly kept on the same floor and not moved to a lower floor • We spent approximately 45 minutes circling the hotel just to access valet because cars were not being cleared efficiently • Returned at 1:30 AM to find the rollaway left unassembled outside our room • Mattress was visibly dirty and stained, including a large red stain • First sheets had blood and yellow stains• Replacement sheets were also visibly stained• Small bugs present in the room • Over 1 hour wait to retrieve our vehicle the next day • Poor communication and service throughout The cleanliness issues were the most concerning. Receiving multiple sets of visibly stained bedding and being expected to sleep on a heavily soiled rollaway bed is unacceptable and does not align with the standards IHG promotes. I requested a refund while at the hotel but received no meaningful resolution. Covering valet and issuing 5,000 IHG points may address part of the parking inconvenience, but it does nothing to address the sanitation concerns and overall experience. Since checkout, the hotel has been largely unresponsive and emails to the General Manager have gone unanswered. Overall, this stay fell well below basic hospitality, cleanliness, accessibility, and guest service expectations. Left feeling absolutely disgusted with the property and the health concerns left right and centre - and nobody communicates back now that we’ve checked out from the hotel.

Very thin renovation attempt, the hallway and rooms smell old and dusty. The lighting is not good, and the elevator is super slow. Bathrooms are tiny, you have to move awkwardly around to close the door. Not a great value considering what I paid, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Very lively part of town so if you are staying on a weekend bring earplugs if you want to get to bed before 2 AM.

The room smells old with a distinct smell. The bathroom is extremely small you have to pretty much stand on the toilet to close the bathroom door. If you use the toilet with the door open you have to go behind the door to get the tissue. You can barely turn around in the bathroom. Hair was in my bed. The room wasn’t clean properly and the hotel smells better in the lobby than the rooms. I cringed staying there the entire time. The air unit would make this loud noise if I turned the heater on. There was a blue light that flashed constantly from the air unit and when you turned the air on it amplified the old dirty smell. I slept with my shirt over my nose. We valet parked every night and it would take 30 mins to get our car daily no matter how many times we stayed. I chose the earliest flight home to get out of that cringing dirty hotel.

Came Cleveland for a baseball game. The hotel is great location. The room was comfortable and quiet. Definitely stay here again.

Really nice room, good location, $50.00 to park was outrageous.
