Lazy Bear Week is a beloved annual gathering of bears and their admirers in the Russian River resort town of Guerneville, California — one of the most historically important gay resort areas in the US. Held each August, the event fills the campgrounds, resorts, and bars of Guerneville with thousands of men for a week of pool parties, outdoor gatherings, and the laid-back river-country atmosphere that makes this corner of Sonoma County so special. It's the antidote to the circuit — all community, all heart.
