The staff are nice and do a great job, tbh the people who left bad reviews either don't like someone working there or they're drunk

Went out with friends last night and honestly had one of the worst bar experiences I’ve had in a while. One of my friends ordered a Mexican Candy shot, and after the bartender finished making it, there was literally a bug floating in the drink. Instead of immediately remaking it like any normal bartender should, the bartender — who was wearing a vest — casually plucked the bug out with his hand and said he would “still drink it.” When my friend understandably asked for a remake, he started making excuses about how he supposedly couldn’t remake the drink because they “aren’t allowed” to pour out liquor or remake shots. It was completely unprofessional and honestly disgusting. Basic cleanliness and customer service should not be optional at a bar. Definitely left a bad impression on all of us.

Very upset, I was always a regular at this place. I ordered a Mexican candy and the tall shirtless guy made it for me. Unfortunately there was a bug in my drink, he simply said “I would still drink it” and refused to make me another drink. I come here all the time and really you can’t remake an 8$ drink me and my group of 6 left after he did that. Lost about 7 customers we will never be back. If there is a bug in the drink remake it???

Scores in the Montrose area won’t stay open for long. There was an outdoor area where I was just playing around as if I were a bartender because the space was open and accessible. I was pretending to be a bartender because I’m just kidding around. A bald guy with a beard walked us out for an infraction that didn’t make sense. He said, I don’t walk into your house and do what I want. When I told him my home is not open to the public, he basically shoved me. I will make sure we meet again in a legal space. I went to school. He goes to work. When I went to take a photo they turn their bright flashlights on. I will come back and not give them a chance to deteriorate their identity. One thing about me, I will be back and I will finish you off like pink on green. The only guy with no hair and beard needs to be let go. No one was a customer and he threw us out. We went to blur to top off the night. We will be back to take clear photos.

Brian the bartender is so sweet here. Definitely come check him out during happy hour

I know it’s not eagle anymore but the music is just as good and so danceable! The bartenders are amazing(especially brian on the patio), and you can tell they have put in some MONEY to clean this place up, make it better, make it more enjoyable, and keep it a top rated spot that fits the lgbtq+ montrose standards! If you haven’t given it a chance yet you should!! If you haven’t come back since eagle left, YOU SHOULD! It’s not the same as eagle but it’s not meant to be! Create new memories and elevate to a Varsity level!

Vibrant atmosphere and music. Brian always makes for great drinks and laughs. Recommend all around!
