The food at the bar was delicious and Elizabeth provided exceptional service. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. 10 out of 10 experience

Horrible experience at this hotel. Evening 1: my coworker's room's plugs didn't work in her room. Maintenance was called but never showed up. 1.5 hours later she requests a new room and they downgrade her. Morning day 2: Valet is nowhere to be found when we needed our car. Had to get an Uber to get to our destination and back. Morning day 3: Our car was available when we went out, but not when we got back, waited ~20 minutes and decided to go to the Starbucks nearby. Got a talk-to from the supervisor when we came back about "following the rules". End of day 2: I have a breakfast charge on my credit card (I didn't go anywhere near the restaurant) and the credit card charge for the room is ~$180 more than the bill. They tell me it's an incidentals' charge that "all reservations get with no exception" - my coworker doesn't have it. Rooms were nice and the location is cool... but the service is not good.

My suitcase was stolen out of my hotel room. Called over 20 times various days to get in contact with management on locating my suitcase. They reached out 3 weeks later that they’ve been busy. There was valuables in my suitcase that can’t be replaced and were important to me. They refunded my stay and let me know any internal findings would only be shared with the police department after a warrant was served. Something sketchy and shady is happening here. They were semi apologetic but again unsafe to stay and the communication was terrible. DONT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED

Stayed for three nights and overall had a comfortable stay. The bed was great, the room was clean, and the modern bathroom design—with the option to open it up and have the bathtub in the center—was a really nice touch. A couple of downsides: housekeeping didn’t refresh the room daily, and there was construction outside during my stay. On the positive side, the bar and restaurant were cozy, and the food tasted really good. Solid experience with a few areas that could be improved.

We recently stayed at The Laura Hotel in downtown Houston to celebrate our wedding, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. When we mentioned we had just gotten married, the hotel kindly upgraded our room, which made our stay even more special. The staff was consistently polite, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. As a thoughtful touch, the hotel also brought complimentary glasses to help us celebrate, which we really appreciated. The room itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a very relaxing atmosphere. The shower had plenty of hot water and great pressure, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely choose to stay here again the next time we visit Houston.
