It is a rinky dink kind of hotel You don't get free breakfast or anything. It does have a kitchens. It's like the old red lions hotel or something. There's only one interest entrance.

This hotel is a nightmare. Stay far far away. Unsafe conditions, dirty rooms, sketchy parking lot.

Do not go here unless you're homeless and have no choice! This is a transient motel! I booked this room through Priceline and had no idea the ratchetness I was to experience! First thing was no one at the front desk! I waited 40+ minutes until someone showed up for work. I just flew in for a work assignment and I was tired! The guy who came in was nice. I felt bad for him because he was rushing around trying to do the job that was abandoned for hours. You can tell there's drug use going on and most of the people there actually live in this motel. The room was clean, as I was told by other people waiting in the lobby to check for dirty towels and linen, which I did. But the door seemed busted and wasn't completely closed. I had to check room to make sure no one was in there. The curtains were barely hanging and couldn't be closed completely. Thank God I was on the 4th floor. I was only staying for the night so I just stayed. I was charged a $100 deposit. It just wasn't a ideal place to stay. I didn't feel safe and barely slept. When I checked out I spoke with someone who said they are the manager. She had no resolve but to tell me she's sorry. It was just something to say. I called studio 6 customer care line and they did nothing but tell me to call the motel. Priceline called and they told them I came after check in so basically it's my fault their worker left early and no one was there to check me in! The reviews on Priceline complain of the same thing! No one is ever at the desk to check in customers. I wish I had seen that before hand! I want a refund that I'll never get! Whoever owns and runs this dump obviously doesn't care. Oh and someone urinated in the stairway! Just disgusting! I don't know why Priceline would allow this place on their platform! I travel for a living and this was the worst experience! Btw I didn't experience bed bugs nor and creepy crawlers thank God! Not the place to go EVER‼️

Rooms were rough and sparse. Stayed here for the kitchenette, but they don't provide any Bowls, pots, pans, cups or anything. Everything smelled of stale cigarettes and Marijuana. People were all nice though.

The lady working at the counter claiming to be the manager refused to allow me and my girlfriend to check in for our room that we booked through expedia, I ended up up having to file a complain with the corporate office and expedia to get my refund back to find another motel to stay in, this place really needs to work on its attitude and customer service towards paying customers.

STAFF COMMENDATION I want to start with what is true and fair: the staff here are good people. Across every review I have read and in my own experience, the front desk team showed up with kindness and professionalism under conditions that ownership created and staff had no control over. They deserve recognition, not blame. OWNERSHIP FAILURES The problems at this property are ownership problems. Key cards that malfunction so often guests need daily resets. No overnight staff — confirmed in the hotel's own listing as a "limited front desk" — meaning if you are locked out after hours, no one is coming. Rooms that do not match the photos advertised online. Habitability issues that fall below Washington State legal standards. CORPORATE ACCOUNTABILITY These are not front desk failures. These are the result of cost-cutting decisions made by G6 Hospitality LLC and its new parent company OYO following their December 2024 acquisition. The staff performed well under policies that set them up to fail. The accountability for what guests experienced belongs with the leadership in Carrollton, Texas — not the people in Kent, Washington who showed up anyway. DIRECT MESSAGE TO OWNERSHIP To ownership: your guests paid for a room and a reasonable standard of care. Your staff delivered more than your policies made possible. Fix the staffing. Fix the infrastructure. Meet the legal standards you are required to meet under Washington State law (RCW 19.48, WAC 246-360). The staff earned better. So did the guests.

This is a weekly establishment. People hang out out side in the front and lobby. I wouldn't recommend if you are visiting. This is more of a local spot. The front desk was nice and helpful tho.

Great place overall. The staff are amazing! The room is clean and well-stocked, and housekeeping does a great job. Front desk staff and maintenance have been so friendly and helpful. Even after several weeks here, I’ve seen zero bugs. The kitchenette is so convenient too. The only reason I deducted one star is due to some broken drawers and outdated furniture (the bed is too firm for me, but could be personal preference). I don’t use the drawers, so wasn’t too bothered about them being non-functional. It’s located close to almost everything. Overall, a great experience so far and I highly recommend Studio 6 Kent!

Great friendly helpful staff!!

The hotel and service was fine. Nothing over the top. The hotel room was clean but a little dinged up. The reason why I'm only giving it 1 star overall is the fact that the hotel room didn't even have a blow dryer, it had a ironing board but no iron 😐, and it has a kitchen, fridge, stove and sink but had no toaster, no plates, utensils, cups and NO COFFEE OR COFFEE MACHINE. Also had no dish soap or paper towels like most hotels with a small kitchen have. I was really mad about that because I would have come more prepared if I would have known that the room would be so bare. I know when the hotel used to be extended stay , they had all those things in every room... Not to mention they offer no breakfast and no complimentary coffee in their lobby so just be aware of all that if you are thinking about staying here. It makes a big difference to some people and it definitely made me not want to ever stay there again. 1 more thing to mention... There is only 1 way in and. 1 way out . Which is through the main front doors .. they closed off all side and back doors for some reason so I didn't like that at all either. The only thing I liked was the quick check in and the clean room and the cheap price. They need to definitely do better.

Front desk team is great, this location is the toughest I would say but they handle it like champs.
