My family and I recently stayed at La Casa del Camino and had an outstanding experience. Our room was comfortable and beautiful. We had the chance to experience the Rip Curl Suite, which was an absolute standout and a memorable part of our visit. Both of the property's restaurants were highlights of our stay. We had the opportunity to attend K’ya Laguna’s reopening, which was fantastic. The food, atmosphere, and energy were exceptional, and it was exciting to experience such a special occasion. We also loved the Rooftop Lounge, which offers incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and a great overall dining experience, with lots of fun beverages. Having breakfast at the Rooftop was delicious and a beautiful way to start the day. The location simply can't be beat. Having direct access to the beach made our stay even more enjoyable and allowed us to fully experience everything Laguna Beach has to offer. What truly sets La Casa del Camino apart, however, is the people. The General Manager, Jim, (who I am excited to golf with) and his entire team delivered exceptional hospitality and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest experience was evident in every interaction. If you're looking for a unique Laguna Beach experience with great accommodations, excellent dining, unbeatable beach access, and a team that truly cares about its guests, I highly recommend La Casa del Camino. We look forward to returning.
This place is a gem that I wish I knew about sooner. Above all else, the service is impeccable and makes the experience that much better. Loved Kya, the views, the charm...everything. I saw Kya's review in Orange Coast Magazine and had to try it out. 10/10 would recommend adding La Casa Del Camino and Kya to your 2026 trip/dining plans!
Nathan just started working here, but he was excellent and accommodated us perfectly! Really took good care of us and our room and make it super comfortable! Our experience here was an easy 5 stars and the unique room made it an even cooler! If we are ever visiting this area again, we will definitely have to stay here just because of the outstanding service! Thank you Nathan!
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During my stay, my vehicle was damaged while parked in the hotel's parking lot. When I reported the incident, I expected at least a professional investigation and clear communication. Unfortunately, neither was provided. The most frustrating part was the lack of communication from hotel management. I had to follow up seven separate times before receiving any meaningful response regarding my claim. Even then, the information I received was inconsistent and contradictory. One hotel associate told me that security cameras were being reviewed, while another later informed me that there are no cameras in the parking lot at all. This lack of coordination and transparency made an already stressful situation even worse. When the hotel finally responded, they pointed to a limited liability disclaimer allegedly printed on the parking placard. However, the placard I was given was already torn when I received it, and I was never asked to read, acknowledge, or sign anything related to parking liability. Using a damaged placard as evidence that guests were properly informed feels misleading and raises serious concerns about how these policies are communicated. While I understand that hotels may have policies limiting liability, I expected better security measures, more professional communication, and a genuine effort to assist a guest whose property was damaged on-site. Instead, I encountered delays, conflicting information, and a complete lack of accountability. Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage future guests to exercise caution when parking here and to carefully document the condition of their vehicle and any parking materials they receive. The hotel's handling of this situation has left me with little confidence in its commitment to guest service and customer care.
Don't stay in room 209. Tiny room, broken window. Dusty portable AC unit. Apple TV was resting on the curtain rod and when I opened the curtains it fell on wifes head. Terrible placement. The continental breakfast was hardly a breakfast. Nutrigrain bars, coffee, tea. And an an expensive resort fee for what exactly?
I was very satisfied considering the price, especially if you’re booking for the World Cup. It’s a really good place because other hotels charge a lot of extra fees, but this hotel didn’t. The service was also like a 4-star hotel.
Our experience actually happens to be about a staff member named Spencer. It's Mother's Day and we're having a great day at the beach until my son get stung by a ray. There is a lot of help at the beach from just beach goers, including the life guards and paramedics. Everyone was telling us we need VERY HOT WATER. So I go up to La Casa Del Camino. I spoke to Spencer who knew immediately what to do. Let's just say with his help and knowledge and experience with this type of "injury". We were able to get things under control and get our son to seek medical care close to home. Thank you very much Spencer! Thank you Jim for having a great staff! Side note... they have an amazing location!
