Hyatt Place Phoenix/Mesa

We prefer staying at Hyatts the overall cleanliness and comfort of our stays are always nice. We enjoy the hot breakfast but wish they all still had the waffle makers,

Outstanding customer service and amenities. I will always stay here when I am in town for personal or work. And I love the new renovations!

Heavy construction underway. Entry at side next to dumpster. Pool drained. No advance warning of any of this. Lobby was moved to a side room.

Stayed here recently and overall had a solid experience. The staff were friendly throughout our stay, the location is great, and our room was spacious and very clean. A few things to note: the property is currently under construction, and the elevators were slow. The rooms themselves are pretty dated, and there was an odor in the hallway, likely from the old carpets. The gym is very small but clean, and it does have a filtered water dispenser to refill bottles, which was a nice touch. The biggest issue was our air conditioning unit not working properly. To their credit, the front desk responded fast every time — the first night they sent maintenance within minutes, cleaned the unit, and even brought us a fan to get us through the night. It started failing again the next day, and they came right back and replaced the entire unit. Not ideal, especially during a record-breaking heat wave that week, but their responsiveness made a real difference. Complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus too. I'd stay here again, but hopefully after the remodel is complete!

In the 112 degree heat, my room stayed nice and cool! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Everything was clean and the breakfasts were tasty.

I stayed here as it was my first time to Arizona. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the hotel is conveniently located within a few minutes' drive to Mesa, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Chandler. There are plenty of nearby restaurants, a movie theater adjacent to the hotel and a Bass Pro just a few feet away. Overall, the experience was great.

The hotel itself was good. It was in a nice location, easy to find, and a nice quality. There were places to eat nearby and basically all we needed. The amenities were nice and enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic. Claudia at the front desk was rude multiple times to me and another customer. Definitely not the behavior of an individual in a customer-facing role. The one washing machine smelled of a certain strongly-scented controlled substance, which made doing laundry a bit more time-consuming.

Great hotel for a family of five on a stop-over. The hotel was clean, check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast was robust and satisfying. The beds were comfortable. The location was close to many things such as eateries and shopping without being in a congested downtown setting. It was perfect for our needs.

Great hotel, great front desk staff. Hot tub and pool well maintained and beautiful. Had a burger at the Placery and was pleasantly surprised how good it tasted and reasonable pricing. Breakfast is always great. Super convenient to Dobson Riverview mall and park - walking distance to the movie theater.
