The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel

Location is great but rooms are so outdated and they have the AC locked so you can’t turn it down. torturous room condition in 90 degree weather. Asked the front desk and they said they’d call to fix it but they didn’t. The lobby is so deceiving as there is air conditioning and looks nice but doesn’t match the rooms. Not worth 400$ a night for a sauna of a room.

Make sure to get rooms in the renovated portion of the hotel. It's a little bit more $$$ but 100% worth. Old floors were built in the 80s, never renovated and feel pretty disgusting. New floors are amazing in comparison.

During my stay, I have observed significant deficiencies in the cleanliness of the room, a situation that is further aggravated by the failure to collect the trash in a timely manner. In addition, the room lacks basic personal hygiene amenities, such as bar soap and other essential toiletries that should be provided to ensure an adequate guest experience. I believe these shortcomings considerably diminish the quality of the service and fall below the minimum standards that one would reasonably expect from a lodging establishment. Therefore, I respectfully request that immediate corrective measures be taken to ensure proper room cleaning, regular waste collection, and the provision of the missing hygiene items. Service and location are fine. HOWEVER, the pictures you see of the rooms are a complete fabrication. They do not look like that. Dirty floors, loose carpet, rotting doors, and 90% humidity in the rooms that you can smell. Such a letdown and top-tier false advertisement. Spend $30 more a night and get a REAL NY Hotel.

The location is great, BUT it's an old hotel with dirty carpets, a lack of paint and maintenance, no mini-fridge or microwave, and noisy AC. They charged me an extra fee of $200 for 4 nights, indicating that every hotel in Manhattan imposes this fee. The location is great, BUT it's completely run down, with dirty carpets, rooms and hallways lacking paint, damp and stained ceilings, very loud air conditioners, outdated and neglected decor, and no mini-fridge or microwave. Furthermore, at check-in, they charged us $200, saying it was an internal hotel fee that all hotels in Manhattan impose.

If I have an option to rate negative I would have done that, Unprofessional staff, dirty carpets, Dirt rooms, had to go back and forth up- down to get the key reset 4 times. If you hate your hard earned money to spend anywhere stay with this hotel. Oh by the way ! I spent more than 850+ for two nights. What a worst way to spend that……

My fiance and I booked a king luxury suite and when we arrived our room was occupied and we were given a queen double bed that were actually full size beds. The room has old worn out furniture and the bed springs were terrible worn. The carpet was dirty and the bathroom had old rusty pipes and fixtures. They are under hotel reconstruction and they start drilling with loud machinery as early as 7am! We did not sleep well in the filthy of this room. The hotel entrance will fool you with the luxury lounge area. After all of this we were moved to one of the renovated rooms that was really nice with new furniture and beds and no carpet but the television never would not freezey appearance and we had no television our entire stay at this hotel. I spoke to front desk and I was promised 15,000 IHG points to accommodate our issues and I never got the points. I call the hotel a month later to inquire about my promised points and was given the phone run around and never got the points. My advise “ Do not stay at this hotel.” It is not worth a dime!! Bad business and ruin your New York visit🤦🏽‍♀️

Good location (just outside of Times Square). Decent budget-option. Do not stay on the 22nd floor . . . air conditioning doesn't work, windows don't open . . . it gets very hot. Also had mold problems in our room (becuase the underpowered A/C couldn't draw the humidity out of the room)

Despite its prime location, this hotel has not undergone any upgrades since the 1980s. The customer service in the lobby is reasonable given the limited resources available. However, upon ascending the elevator, guests are met with a sense of “back to the past” movie , as the rooms lack modern amenities such as a TV remote and temperature control. Consequently, I regret to inform you that I will not be returning to this hotel in the future. Lobby is misleading.

A group of crazy people kept screaming at 11 PM. Escalated to the front desk who committed to send the security but nothing happened. Will not come back again…

Our first room smelled like cigarettes so they moved us and the second room smelled like mildew. The customer service employee was rude so we left our stuff in the second room to go enjoy my birthday. That night when we got back the elevators were not working and they made us wait at least an hour before they opened up the stairwells.
