The Front Porch

The Front Porch is a piano bar, lounge and restaurant on Shore Road that has been an Ogunquit institution for roughly four decades. Its upstairs piano lounge is the draw: a resident pianist leads nightly sing-alongs, and a crowd that is mostly gay and thoroughly gay-friendly gathers around the keys through the summer season. Downstairs, the restaurant serves American fare and cocktails in a relaxed setting a short walk from Ogunquit Square and the beach. Along with MaineStreet, it is one of the two anchors of the town's LGBTQ+ nightlife, trading dance-floor energy for conversation and show tunes. Hours are seasonal, with the fullest schedule from late spring through the fall.
