Brenton Beach House

Die guten Jahre scheinen hier leider vorbei zu sein. Wir hatten Apartment 9 mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern und waren fünf Tage vor Ort. In dieser Zeit mussten wir ganze sieben Mal zur Rezeption – aufgrund von fehlendem oder extrem schwachem Wasserdruck. In den letzten beiden Tagen kam dann noch ein unerträglicher Geruch nach Hundekot aus Badezimmer B hinzu, angeblich verursacht durch den Duschabfluss. Positiv: Die Betten sind in Ordnung, und die Küchenausstattung ist grundsätzlich ordentlich. Allerdings ist die Küche selbst teilweise stark in die Jahre gekommen und wirkt stellenweise marode. Ameisen tauchen sofort auf, sobald auch nur kleinste Krümel auf dem Boden liegen. Das Housekeeping wischt den Teppich (!) mit einem Wischmopp – was auch erklärt, warum dieser permanent nach nassem Hund riecht. Die großen Schränke sind gut, ebenso die vorhandenen Schminktische im zweiten Schlafzimmer – allerdings praktisch kaum nutzbar, da sie durch den Nachttisch blockiert werden. Ein weiteres großes Manko ist die extreme Hellhörigkeit: Alle Gäste aus den Häusern 20–28 laufen direkt an den Fenstern der beiden Schlafzimmer vorbei. Privacy is practically nonexistent. The pool area is also very noisy – it constantly feels like a window is open. While the view of the pool from the balcony is nice (e.g., for parents with older children), it's rather bothersome for families with young children. In conclusion: The complex is clearly showing its age and has noticeably declined in quality. I would strongly advise against apartment number 9.

Don't think twice. This place is spectacular. You can't get closer to the beach it is literally on your doorstep. Rooms are clean and beautiful and the whole place has a great vibe! Views are spectacular! Run dont walk!!

What an awesome space overall- the flow of it all with the way it is placed for those amazing sunsets!! Rad! Welcoming and really helpful staff. The Manager- Jeandre Grobbelaar is super cool and friendly, which tranfers to his team of staff- everyone is super helpful and friendly . Easy flow check in and out. Pool water is warm- perfect after a full beach day. The gym answers all your needs to get a swift and smart workout in- nice! Rooms are spacious with braai areas and family seating table on the patios, as south africans - this is SUPER!! Quite a well kept and clean unit. Hearing the ocean sounds all night allowed great lullabies for the kids 😬. Restaurant food is super flavourful. We had our car parked in the basement which was super cool according to our daughter - she loved using the lift up to the room from there- awesome feature would make great for wheelchair access The family is pleased!! Brenton Haven is great.

A fantastic resort. We stayed for two nights and were extremely satisfied with everything. The accommodation offers everything you could need: private parking, excellent access, a pool, a gym, and a restaurant. What more could you want?

All flash and no bang. It's a beautiful resort at a most amazing location, plenty of flash. But the simple basics get a one star rating. Sorry. The management needs to up its game instead of relying on the natural beauty. Basically just hoping the guests are too distracted to notice that the service is below par.
