DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alice Springs

I stayed 19 nights at Doubletree while in Alice for work. The hotel looks very nice with a large lobby, good restaurants, and well-kept gardens, and is in a nice quiet location not far from the main town. The room was comfortable, clean and very spacious. The hotel felt very safe and the secure gated parking was a big positive. Staff are friendly and the rooms cleaned daily (albeit sometimes as early as 8am and as late as 4:30pm). I noticed there was no complementary water in the fridge (but that didn't bother me as the room had a sink and tap), and the ventilation in the bathroom wasn't the best as it got very wet in there after having the shower on, which took a long time to air out and dry. Those were only minor concerns though, and overall I had a very comfortable and positive stay and would definitely stay again. P.S. both restaurants Saltbush and Hanuman were quite good

Would recommend! In a lovely part of Alice Springs, walking distance to town! Pool is fantastic! Breakfast wasn’t amazing but dinner was. Rooms cleaned every day. Staff were helpful and kind. Surrounded by beautiful scenery! Room was lovely.

Recently stayed at the Hilton in Alice Springs. We had a lovely room on level 3 overlooking the pool area. I was extremely impressed by the service at the hotel, from the breakfast restaurant staff to the cleaners to the front desk. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room seemed to be recently renovated. Bathrooms may not have been however they were in very good condition. The beds were super cosy and comfy. I felt extremely safe whilst staying at the hotel as well. The rooms were large and had lovely decor. The rooms were extremely clean as well. The pool area is a little dated and the outside of the hotel is dated however quite well kept. This was my 2nd time to alice but first to the hilton and I have to say the hotel was fantastic overall.

We recently stayed at the Doubletree Alice Springs location for two separate nights (March 31 and April 04). Both stays were excellent. The room was pleasant and the facilities were also very good. However, what stood out for us and made the stay so exceptional were the front desk staff members. From the initial friendly welcome, through to our checkout we interacted with several of them (too many names to list). Without exception they were welcoming, friendly and smoothly efficient. Nice facilities are all well and good but It’s the staff that truly make a hotel, and the Doubletree Alice Springs staff certainly made our stay memorable one. For anyone considering a stay in Alice Springs - no need to do endless research, just book the Doubletree.

Great Place to stay. Staff and lovely and very helpful. The only issues we had was there was no toaster or microwave in the room. This, of course comes down to reading the facilities. I understand they prefer you to eat at their restaurants but sometimes you just want to have toast in your room or heat up leftovers from the big meal from the night before. The other issue some people may have is how far you have to park your car from your room. It can be a bit of a walk. So if you're not very able bodied, please keep this in mind. Other than these things it was a great place to stay. Beds are really comphy. The pool was great to swim in. Oh and it's very quiet. No noise from the town in the evening.
