DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alice Springs

We have given this hotel the benefit for of doubt several times over the last few years but enough is enough. Hotel rooms and general property maintenance is extremely poor. No security. Hallways run a muck all hours of day and night. Small glimpses of individual professionalism if you look really hard but this is rare. Won’t be back

For the money they charge they have not lived up to expectations! Tired building and things you would not expect from a top tier hotel like breakfast trays still outside doors at 8pm at night, food from previous guests left in the fridge, key access to car parks that don’t work and no answer to the help buzzer (I had to leave my vehicle and walk to front desk to get someone to let me in….very poor!!

Had intermittent hot and cold water,was looked at by maintenance,with no improvement, balcony screen door latch was broken, fixed when reported, comfy bed, generally the facility was nice, just getting tired,

Hotel seems a bit on the aged side but in good shape. Parking is a bit of a challenge since door keys do not open the car park gates and you have to ring for the gate to be opened. Air conditioning thermostats appear to not really work. Our room was always on the warm side, mentioned it to the front desk, maintenance came and said "its blowing 23C what do you want" hallway was significantly cooler than the room the entire stay and it was never rectified. As a Hilton Diamond member did not feel that response was adequate but maybe thats just how the hotel works. Breakfast was included in my stay and was very good quality and the staff was excellent and accommodating. Would stay here again if in the area and the outdoor temperatures are cool enough to not need AC. Also hotel has no shuttle service anywhere it seems, which is rather odd for tourist-centric hotel.

I stayed 19 nights at Doubletree while in Alice for work. The hotel looks very nice with a large lobby, good restaurants, and well-kept gardens, and is in a nice quiet location not far from the main town. The room was comfortable, clean and very spacious. The hotel felt very safe and the secure gated parking was a big positive. Staff are friendly and the rooms cleaned daily (albeit sometimes as early as 8am and as late as 4:30pm). I noticed there was no complementary water in the fridge (but that didn't bother me as the room had a sink and tap), and the ventilation in the bathroom wasn't the best as it got very wet in there after having the shower on, which took a long time to air out and dry. Those were only minor concerns though, and overall I had a very comfortable and positive stay and would definitely stay again. P.S. both restaurants Saltbush and Hanuman were quite good

Would recommend! In a lovely part of Alice Springs, walking distance to town! Pool is fantastic! Breakfast wasn’t amazing but dinner was. Rooms cleaned every day. Staff were helpful and kind. Surrounded by beautiful scenery! Room was lovely.

Had three stays there, one stay in a two bed room has the worst hotel bed ive slept in. Dealing with the hotel.over the phone is difficult due to language issues

打著希爾頓的招牌，結果房間跟服務根本大失所望。推薦其他旅客還不如去其他間性價比較高的飯店：） The hotel advertised check-in from 3:00 PM, but we were not able to access our second room until almost 5:00 PM. When we made the booking, we had already clearly informed the hotel that we would be arriving around 3:00 PM. Most guests travelling here are driving long distances, so having to wait nearly two extra hours to check in was extremely exhausting. If guests are expected to check out on time, then it feels unfair that such a significant delay to check-in is considered acceptable. We arrived at the hotel at 3:25 PM. The front desk staff informed us that one of our rooms was still being cleaned and asked the five of us to wait together in the other room first. We were told to come back downstairs to collect the key once the second room was ready. At around 4:30 PM, the room was still not ready, so I went downstairs again to ask the front desk. Only then did the staff call housekeeping to confirm the status, and we were told we would need to wait another 10 minutes. I then requested that, once the room was ready, the key card please be brought to our room. In the end, we did not receive access to the other room until 4:52 PM.

We had expressed some preferences when booking. Everything was taken into account. The room was very nice and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was very generous.

This was an amazing stay. I rate 8.5 out of 10. Welcome was amazing- staff was we helpful. Room smells amazing bedding was huge comfy and lush. View from verandah was lovely. Plenty of space in cupbaord for clothing. Restaurant salt bush food was absolutely amazing. The best food weve had in a long time- flavoursome. Parking all secure fenced electronic gate Only real negative was the walk from the parking carrying lots of bags- no pay tv or direct netflix smart tv option as such. Room was serviced the next day- was amazing. Honestly what a beautiful stay we would have stayed longer if we could and will return! Golf course right at the rear. There is a bar and 2 restaurants. In room service all night. Laundromat was a huge winner!!
