Brisbane Powerhouse is a mainstream arts centre in a converted power station on the Brisbane River in New Farm. It runs theatre, comedy, music and food markets through the year, with bars and a restaurant on site. For LGBTQ+ visitors its main draw is Melt, Brisbane's queer arts festival, which is based here.
