Arrived at the place around 7 with pre-registered parking as per a call with staff at the hotel. We were given a key to the car park that didn't work, so we were told to go to reception because it apparently closed at 8, even though we were already told it closed at 7. We went anyway and it was closed like we assumed it would be. The night manager didn't really help at all and told us we didn't have pre-authorised parking, which we very much did and which we confirmed on the phone. Pretty much messed up our experience before we even set foot into the room itself.
We stayed here during the Sydney vivid festival. We arrived from Darwin tired and a bit shell shocked. All the staff were friendly and accommodating and helped us to get settled quickly. The room was large clean and had great views of the Sydney skyline. Public transport was available right at the front door and we found getting around Sydney very quick and easy. Next door was a pub and restaurant with good food and entertainment, there was a theater across the road and all the shopping we needed within easy walking distance. All in all a great place to stay. Thank you to all the staff for making of stay so memorable.
There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor and on the shower room walls, which was disgusting. Toothpaste was stuck to the shelf, and the furniture was covered in white dust. Immediately after checking in, while we were resting in our room, a stranger unlocked the door and came in. They noticed us, said "I'm sorry," and hurried out. Who was that? The kitchen knife was so dull it was unusable. The gas stove was also dirty, as if it had been used. Was we mistakenly given an uncleaned room? We paid a good price, but this made it feel like we stayed in a cheap guesthouse. It's disappointing. I think you should hire a professional cleaner.
Booked for 1 night - stayed on fifth floor , the room is comfortable but the hotel is right next to the highway - writing this review at night 12:00 am , still too much road noice and unable to settle in. Spiking my plan and day for tomorrow . The concierge was unhelpful , they have another room but want me to upgrade and pay the price. Not what I expected for a hotel of this nature. Will never stay here again

As a couple, we booked a room for a two-week holiday. The room was perfectly equipped, including a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, washing machine, and iron. The location is excellent—there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making it easy to reach all the main attractions, such as the city centre and the zoo. There are also cafés, a pharmacy, and a supermarket nearby. The staff are very helpful. The hotel is located near a highway, so there is quite a lot of traffic. Because of this, the room can be noisy and somewhat dusty. This was the only downside.
Great, comfortable accommodation. You forget you’re in a big busy city. Has a lot of little extras like soap, coffee etc. Staff were nice and were very willing to help and give recommendations. Convenient bus over the harbour bridge to get into the city in 10 minutes. Thanks again!
