City Crown Motel

We would highly recommend staying here. Friendly staff, clean, tidy, well appointed room. Good food and alcohol.

The room was small and cozy with basic amenities, but the location was very convenient, with several bus stops and a light rail station nearby. Cole Market was right across the street. The downsides were the old air conditioning, which was noisy and disruptive to sleep, and the inconsistent hot water temperature in the shower, making showering a bit stressful.

The worst possible service you could imagine. Would NEVER recommend

$522 for a room with blood stained sheets and no hot water!. Absolute rip-off! Nice and quiet walking distance to Moore Park. Would have been okay for half the price. Definitely not worth what we paid

Cockroaches, mold, toilet did not flush, the “eco-friendly” hot water heater took 20 minutes of continuous running to get warm, air conditioner barely worked, and the sheets were clean but the bed linens had stains…so gross. This hotel is frankly disgusting. We did not read reviews beforehand because of our travel circumstances we just needed a place in the area for a couple nights.

Walked into this hotels bar on a Thursday at 1:30 pm. Me and my friend are both 24 and all we wanted was to sit in and have a meal and a cold non alcoholic drink as we were out about on our day off. I walked in and asked the guy at the bar if they had menus to which he abruptly replied they are on the table. I went to walk to the table and again he rudely said do ye have IDs. I said I didn’t have mine on me only on my phone and that we were just here to have some food. He rudely laughed in our faces and said the rules are different over here. This man was so abrupt and rude to us i wasn’t even going to stay there and entertain him. I told him we would go elsewhere to which he continued laughing in our faces thinking it had hilarious. The man I believe was Australian was wearing a blue and white long sleeve shirt aged perhaps 30s. Rude staff towards normal customers

Floors wet room dirty

Great staff, facilities always clean, the service behind the bar and in VIP room is well stocked with new machines but be warned, this place has its pokies fixed so people rarely win here. it will guy you dry.

Nice pub. Excellent service

Great local pub with good value lunch menu, cheap cocktails and a fabulous roof top bar. Definitely worth a visit.
