Vibranium Hong Kong

Was most disappointed, I went to Vibranium to see about booking an event. I went with a cis female. We arrived very early there were only two small tables with of guys on each side or the room in the corners. As we walked in and began to head to the bar we were cut off by the staff who politely said they had an entrance fee for ladies. Meanwhile his hands were held in an X towards her. Everyone needs a safe space and queer culture in Hong Kong should be nourished. In many places in the world queer tourism is a problem. In my hometown of Sanfrancisco places like The Stud are regularly frequented by straights looking for a ‘gay experience’ and women just looking for a place to have a drink and not worry about being harassed by some horny patriarch wanting to mansplain about the joys of gaming. In Hong Kong we are currently fighting for rights and dignity for the lgbtqai+ community. By shutting out anyone from the rainbow you only give them reason hate. I am most disappointed.. check out Bing Bing or Sing Sing upstairs instead.

This place requires a reservation of a table before you can go in. They ask walk ins to come after 2:00am. No clue there was a reservation requirement. We got there and got turned back.

Was told that only women have to pay for entry; the bouncer lied and said that this is how it normally is. How ironic for a gay bar to be discriminating against another minority.

So, I was disappointed. They've been showing K-pop all night with extremely low viewership; I don't want to waste my time anymore. No next time.

Deciding whether to buy a drink here for a quiet Sunday night… place is definitely mostly for locals and not foreigners. But thought I’d give it a go. Usually great music over the weekend and packed. Nobody dances though and it’s too loud to really chat. Not really a meeting place but is social if you’re a local. I’m an out of towner who just keen to check the scene out

Had a blast at this disco in Hong Kong ! The music was on point, and we loved seeing the guys dance to K-pop hits. The bartenders were super friendly and added to the great vibe of the place. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a fun night out! 🎶🕺🍹

No performance No gogo boy, Counter staff have no service, crowed, $50 coupon instead of one drink include. $180 entry fee. Nevertheless, this is the really famous LGBTQ+ bar in HK
