We had an unforgettable evening with excitement, a level of service down to the smallest details, something we have never experienced even in other reputable chef restaurants. There are no words to describe the feeling we left with, we were in the spotlight. We will definitely be back for the next event.

We came to the restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday, who is pregnant. When we made the reservation, we mentioned that she was pregnant and requested the restaurant’s special pregnancy menu. Two days before arrival, the restaurant called us to go over the menus again and confirm that she would receive the customized menu. They also confirmed this once again when we arrived at the restaurant. It was a tasting menu, in which each dish received a personal portion for each diner. In the second dish, the waitress served the dishes and began to explain them. During the explanation, I heard her say that my wife’s dish had sashimi. For a moment, I thought I hadn’t heard correctly, so I asked her if it was sashimi, and she replied that it did. Only then did she realize the mistake, said “oops,” took the dish, and ran to the kitchen. If I hadn’t listened to the explanation and stopped her at that moment, my wife might have eaten raw fish even though the restaurant had been informed all along that she was pregnant. The dish was even designed in such a way that it was impossible to tell that it was sashimi – the fish was wrapped in mango – so there is no way we would have recognized it ourselves. What was equally disappointing was the way things were handled afterwards. No manager came to apologize, no one explained how such a mistake had happened, and no attempt was made to restore our sense of security. They simply replaced the dish and continued as if nothing had happened. From that moment on, instead of enjoying a delicious meal that cost about 1,500 NIS per couple, I found myself asking and re-checking each dish for fear of another mistake. This is not the feeling that should be in a restaurant of this level and price, and certainly not when it comes to a menu specifically designed for pregnant women. We no longer trusted even the mocktail from that moment on. I understand that human errors can happen anywhere. But when it comes to a pregnant woman, and especially after she was repeatedly flagged in the system and approved several times in advance, this is a serious mistake. This is not a preference for a particular food, but rather clear guidelines from the Ministry of Health regarding pregnant women and eating raw fish. And in my opinion, no less serious was the fact that we did not even receive a personal apology or comment from the restaurant management. It is also important for me to warn pregnant women, people with allergies, or anyone who relies on dietary adjustments: do not assume that the marking in the system is enough. In our case, despite all the prior approvals, a dish was still served that did not match the menu ordered. I recommend asking and explicitly verifying every dish that is served, even if you were told in advance that everything is in order. Unfortunately, in our case, only our vigilance prevented a mistake that could have ended differently.

Yesterday my family and I were at Hiba and it was amazing. For me it was the first fine dining meal in my life and I don't think I'll forget it. It was very, very delicious. There were four of us and my parents, who have eaten in many Michelin restaurants around the world, said it was one of the best meals they've ever had and that in Israel they've only eaten at this level twice - 25 years ago at Roshfeld's and 15 years ago at Meir Adoni's. Everyone at the restaurant was really nice and gave us lots of treats. We left full and very, very happy.

We celebrated a birthday at the restaurant on Thursday evening. We were a couple and came full of expectations. And a little more in detail: The service and atmosphere are great, the special dishes - but above all - they are not tasty enough. It's not that these are disgusting dishes - not at all. But everything overall was not tasty enough. Even when dishes we liked more arrived, like the fish skewer or the sirloin - they were very small. Two or three bites and it was over. I took the caviar addition to my route and felt that it did not match the flavors of some of the dishes it was combined with. In the potato dish, for example, it salted the dish too much. The fig cocktail stood out positively, as did the whipped yogurt in the desserts. Bottom line: A mediocre+ experience that is really not worth its price.

The best restaurant in Israel (and also the most expensive we've ever paid at a restaurant, but I would do it again!)

We came to celebrate a birthday. Everything was excellent and of the highest standard. From the preliminary phone call to clarify preferences and adjustments, the pleasant welcome and the dishes that were excellent one by one. The service was also courteous and professional and the whole experience was simply wonderful.

The dishes were varied and very special, designed with great care and the flavors are combined and special. The kitchen is open and you can see how everyone works perfectly and harmoniously, everything is clean and a meticulous atmosphere surrounds the place. Chef Yossi Sheetrit can be seen dancing around the kitchen and the restaurant, smiling and pleasant, it is clear that the atmosphere maintains a high standard. Perfect. The most delicious food we've ever eaten. Crazy service, thought of every detail. Very expensive, but totally worth the experience and good value for money.

A treat of perfect and pure pleasure, unique dishes, a once-in-a-lifetime experience, highly recommended.
