A lovely warm and peaceful place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sauna included in the room price was a plus. The breakfast was a perfect 10.

Rooms: I stayed in Korpimetsä, which was a very good option for me. Cozy and practical. A kitchenette, a washing machine and a large enough refrigerator brought practicality to the room. The named rooms were a pleasant surprise. Service: The customer was always the focus and I thought I received very good and professional service. Smiling staff and a brisk morning made the traveler wake up to a new day in a good mood. Location: The center of Joensuu is within walking distance, so the location could not be better. It is easy to come by car, but the size of the parking lot may be a challenge for those traveling with a large van. There was an electric car charging station in the parking lot. Extras: I was able to enjoy breakfast from the "heinä" series dishes familiar from childhood. The coffee cup was also large enough to get a suitable dose of morning coffee. If I need to stay in Joensuu again, I will use "Lietsu". The whole is what matters, and in this hotel the pieces formed a whole that can be happily reviewed and recommended to others.

Homely and lovely atmosphere! The rooms and common areas are really clean. The service is friendly, the breakfast is varied and tasty and many details have been thought out. I would love to come again!

Cosy small hotel with big rooms, handcrafted breakfast, and a scenic sauna for the same price and as good location as the run of the mill franchise hotels in the city. Now why wouldn't you choose this?

We went for breakfast to explore the place. 3 star breakfast. Karelian pies good, other breakfast mediocre, considering the price is 16€. I can't give a higher rating based on this visit, having eaten breakfast elsewhere while traveling.

Hello, I will be staying at this hotel for a few days, and I have a few questions: 1) Are there pots, plates, and utensils for cooking in the room? 2) Is there a dishwasher? Dish soap? 3) Does the washing machine come with detergent or laundry powder? 4) Are there any extra charges for the gym and sauna?

It was a great experience staying in Lietsu. Lovely breakfast, warm and quiet place, and friendly staff! Enjoyed the sauna as well.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Joensuu, and my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The first thing that struck me was the impeccable cleanliness—it immediately set a high standard. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city, making everything easily accessible. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. All the basic necessities were well covered—even simple things like salt and pepper—so you don’t have to run to the market for everyday essentials. The gym is huge, spectacular, and fully equipped with all the machines you could need. One of the highlights was the private sauna. Having this extra feature truly set the hotel apart and felt like a special treat. On top of that, I had an afternoon flight, and the hotel was wonderfully flexible with my checkout time. This kind of consideration really speaks volumes about their boutique approach and commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Cleanliness, location, amenities, and personalized service all combined to make it a memorable stay. Highly recommended! the ONLY feedback to improve: blackout in the rooms isn't very efficient (only relevant in summer, but I would add an extra layer of curtains/change the blackout)
