I had a very positive experience with The House of Co Berlin. The Letting Manager, in particular, was extremely professional, friendly, and reliable from the very beginning. All my questions were answered promptly, and the entire process – from the initial viewing to moving in – was straightforward and transparent. I felt well taken care of and valued. Highly recommended!

I agree with the previous reviews. The accommodation is acceptable for short stays, but for longer stays it clearly lacks the necessary level of comfort. Cleaning is unfortunately a recurring and serious issue. In addition, communication via the service addressis handled exclusively by email. This makes resolving issues unnecessarily difficult, as many matters could have been clarified quickly and easily by phone and would have given tenants a greater sense of reassurance. The booking process itself was very straightforward, and all questions were clarified promptly and reliably by phone. The on-site property managers are friendly, committed, and make a genuine effort to provide support.

I felt very comfortable at House of Co in Berlin. The service was excellent, and both check-in and check-out with Gina were completely hassle-free and pleasant. Everything ran smoothly and professionally. For a long-term stay, the apartment was a bit too small for me personally, so after about three months I looked for something new. However, I can definitely recommend the accommodation for shorter stays!

The co-living concept itself is well-thought-out, modern, and offers great potential. The on-site staff deserves special mention: consistently friendly, helpful, and dedicated. They take requests seriously, and it's clear the team is doing their best to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Unfortunately, the overall experience is significantly hampered by several structural decisions. It feels like corners are being cut in the wrong places. A particularly negative example is the beds, which are far too small for furnished apartments—especially for longer stays. Adequate sleeping comfort should be a given in a co-living concept. Overall, the level of comfort offered doesn't justify the price. At these prices, one would expect higher-quality furnishings and more thoughtful design choices. Many of the shortcomings are clearly not due to the staff's dedication but rather to overarching framework conditions. In conclusion, it's a solid concept with a good team, but it's held back by an unbalanced price-performance ratio and a lack of investment in comfort and quality. With improvements in equipment and living comfort, this concept could easily reach a 5-star level.

Positive: The rental process was quick and straightforward, and the handover was professional and efficient, especially thanks to Gina. Kim and Gina are always helpful and attentive. Negative: Cleanliness leaves much to be desired – it’s clear that cleaning is being cut corners. The beds are far too small, and curtains and other details feel cheap and poorly maintained. There are also ants in the building, the locking system is inconvenient and insecure, and for the price charged, there are no amenities such as a gym or other tenant services. Overall, the on-site team is solid, but management decisions and the noticeable cost-cutting in key areas significantly diminish the overall experience.

Philipp and Gina are very pleasant individuals who are consistently helpful, friendly, and committed to supporting tenants with their concerns. However, the existing structural deficiencies are clearly noticeable. The main point of criticism is the accessibility of the property management. Based on my experience, the management can only be reached via a service email address and is not available by phone. As an end user of the service, it becomes evident that there is a need for improvement at the management level. Unfortunately, this has a negative impact on the overall impression.

I have stayed here several times due to work assignments. Overall, my stays have been pleasant. Gina and Kim do an excellent job — they are very dedicated, helpful, and always professional. There are a few areas that could benefit from improvement, which I would attribute more to organizational or management aspects rather than the on-site team. These include housekeeping consistency, the bed size (90×200 cm), which may feel a bit small for longer stays, and the door system, which occasionally malfunctions despite new batteries and prior notifications. Overall, a good experience with a very committed team on site.

The atmosphere was pleasant and professional. For me personally, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right, and the community area is more like a cozy living room with a sofa and TV. Nevertheless, the overall concept is interesting and well-executed. Definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for exactly this kind of place!

It's a small but nice apartment, let's put it that way. Unfortunately, the kitchen wasn't fully equipped as described. There was one pot, one pan, and a little bit of cutlery, but you couldn't really cook anything. The courtyard is nicely landscaped, and the balconies are a decent size. The bathroom is very spacious and pleasant, and there was generally plenty of storage space in the apartment. However, the washing machines were often problematic, and some were completely broken. Unfortunately, the refrigerator is unbearably loud, making it almost impossible to sleep properly at night, but apparently, that's how it's supposed to be. The common room is rather poorly designed. Some of my roommates had to walk through it to get to their rooms, which made the common room feel more like a private space for the adjacent rooms. The vacuum cleaner in the shared storage room does the opposite of what it's supposed to; I often found more dust and dirt on my floor than before. All in all, it's okay, but over a longer period it becomes rather unpleasant; it's not very homey there.

The apartment viewing in the co-living concept was very positive overall. Georgina was extremely professional, friendly, and well-prepared. She was able to answer all my questions competently – both about the apartment itself and about the location and surrounding area. Legal questions regarding the contract were also discussed transparently and understandably, which gave me peace of mind. One minor point of criticism concerns the communal area: Currently, it's more of a shared living room with several other people and, in my opinion, doesn't quite offer the added value one would expect from a true community space. I think the concept could be further developed in this area. Nevertheless, it was a very pleasant viewing and left a very professional impression. Thank you!

First of all, their email communication is unparalleled. They sent me a lovely email about an appointment that I apparently missed, even though I had no idea such an appointment existed. Silly me, right? But they were kind enough to graciously threaten me with contract termination before inviting me to the mysterious appointment, which, by the way, was a secret surprise event where they tested your psychic abilities. The induction cooker, oh, what a masterpiece! I noticed it had a few battle scars when I moved in, but I thought, "Wow, they're embracing that rustic, well-loved look." When I finally mustered the courage to report it, I was met with the sound of crickets from the service email. But fear not, they eventually sent a crew of artists who polished it with such enthusiasm that they decided to extend their creativity to the walls. The result? Well, let's just say you'll have a new appreciation for abstract art once you see the wall. Cleaning it is merely an illusion, much like the magician who made my security deposit disappear. But wait, there's more! The administration is planning to host a grand gala for the wall repainting and new induction cooker, complete with a red carpet and celebrity chef. I've heard rumors that they're even considering selling tickets to cover the costs. Who knew living in a coliving place could be so glamorous? In all seriousness, House of Co is a unique experience that you won't forget. It's like living in a sitcom, with unexpected twists and turns at every corner. So, if you're looking for a place that will keep you on your toes and test your problem-solving skills, this is the place for you. Just don't forget to bring your own magic wand to clean those artistic walls!
