Stuttgart's Christopher Street Day is the main annual LGBTQ+ event for Baden-Württemberg, held in the home city of Porsche and Mercedes in the heart of prosperous southwestern Germany. The parade draws a large and diverse crowd through the city centre, and Stuttgart's strong economy has helped build a stable, visible queer community that the pride event reflects. The surrounding Swabian wine country makes it a great base for a longer visit.
