Kronos Villaları

We stayed at HERA for seven days this August. The host gave us a warm welcome with lots of delicious treats. Unfortunately, the air conditioning on the first floor wasn't working, or rather, it was broken, and there was a puddle of water along the floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room. This dampened our spirits a bit, as we had previously spent seven days in Malia in a very luxurious and comfortable house, also with a pool. However, at our request, the AC was quickly replaced the following day. This allowed us to settle in properly from the second evening onwards. The pool is great, but it gets no sun after about 3 pm. This was a shame, so we only really used the pool in the evenings to cool off after returning from the beach or other activities. The terrace by the pool also wasn't very inviting. The accommodation is very spacious, the location is fantastic, and we really liked the sea view. However, the furniture was outdated, and unfortunately, it wasn't very clean. You have to request cleaning in advance. There is no automatic daily cleaning. The cleaning wasn't thorough either. However, the beds were made with fresh linens and the towels were changed. Therefore, we only requested cleaning once during our seven-day stay. The accommodation is quite spacious, but the furnishings are in need of renovation. Furthermore, our booking confirmation failed to mention an additional environmental surcharge of €15 per day, payable on-site and not included in the rental price. While this surcharge is legally permissible, I believe it should be clearly stated in the offer. The host was helpful and friendly, hence the four-star rating despite these shortcomings.

Simply the coolest villa in the world, man!

Had an absolutely lovely stay here. Fantastic house with everything one could need. On arrival a welcome gift with lots of fruit and local delicacies. Great tips for dining out from a very friendly and helpful landlord. Would definitely highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.
