Lenikos Resort

Great resort, beautiful location with a very nice view. It is handy to have a rental car though....

A beautiful apartment complex in southern Crete. Every morning, freshly prepared, delicious specialties are served, including cheese, fruit, meat or fish dishes, salads, sweets, yogurt, and much more. Each of the three apartment groups has its own pool. Our rooms were cleaned every two days – I believe they initially asked if we would prefer daily cleaning. The road to Agia Galini is only about 3 km, but it's best traveled by car or scooter, as the hills are quite steep. In just twenty minutes, you reach the first idyllic beaches, which were practically deserted during the off-season. This meant we could swim in water and air temperatures of around 25 degrees Celsius and admire the colorful marine life of the Mediterranean while snorkeling. For cultural experiences, Knossos is 75 minutes away, and the caves of Matalas are 40 minutes away. We are already looking forward to our next trip to the Lenikos Resort.

The hotel is very well-maintained, the location is lovely, the staff is very friendly, and the service is pleasant. The children and we ourselves loved the company of the hotel's many cats; they were very friendly and quite affectionate! Our room had a kitchen, a separate bedroom upstairs, and a large bed in the living area. The ground-floor room was very nice. The upstairs bedroom could use a little updating, especially the bed, which is a bit old and creaks. There's a very pleasant terrace on both sides of the apartment.

This resort offers peace and relaxation. Agia Galini is just a few minutes away by car. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. The service is excellent. I personally can highly recommend it.

Beautifully situated resort where you can enjoy a peaceful holiday. Fantastic breakfast that is homemade every day. Spotless apartments and daily cleaning service. Not suitable if you have mobility issues due to many stairs and slopes.

Very nice and quiet place for a vacation. Rooms are clean and cozy. Nice pool. Pleasant and kind hostess.

A very lovely hotel, run with great care and attention. The hostess is very attentive and checks in several times to make sure everything is alright – the two adorable dogs are a real treat, too. The rooms are clean and very well-maintained, the apartments are well-equipped – excellent Wi-Fi – the cleaning is top-notch, everything is truly excellent. The grounds are huge, and it's easy to get lost – but with three pools to choose from, you can always find a quiet spot. :) The breakfast is amazing and should definitely be booked in advance; there's something different every day, homemade and absolutely delicious – a place to feel completely at ease.

Wa had an absolute fantastic stay with our toddler! The homemade mezze breakfast is delicious and different every day. Quietly located in the mountains above Agia Galini, so a rental car is a must here. The rooms are well equipped and are cleaned from top to bottom every day (even the dishes!). Thanks to the very helpful owners we had an exquisite diner on arrival after a very long travel day full of delays.
