Princess of Mykonos

Comfortable room but very poorly soundproofed. More hot water if showering a bit late in the morning. Breakfast service was very casual, spending more time on the mobile phone than attending to the customers. Located outside the city but accessible on foot.

We paid 15 euro hotel tax at Princess of Naxos upon check out when the Manager of Princess requested. However, later on we found out from our Intrepid travel group that it is covered by intrepid and we should not have paid it. We informed our Intrepid tour guide and requested him to follow up with the Manager of Princess of Naxos. Our Intrepid tour guide promised that it’s all sorted and the refund of the hotel tax will be processed. To date, we have not received any refund. This is so disappointing with the Princess of Naxos scamming us of the 15 Euros hotel tax. The 3 nights stay at Princess of Naxos was not premium at all as the location was too far from town, the hotel was run down and the breakfast was disappointing.

Served its purpose for our stay but could use some updates. 📍 Location: Convenient spot—just 10 minutes from Chora and literally a 1-minute walk to the local bus stop. Perfect for getting around the island. 🛏️ Rooms: Clean and tidy, though the beds could be a bit more comfortable. We also thought the breakfast could use a little more variety from day to day. 🙌 Hospitality: The staff are super friendly and always willing to help with recommendations, bookings, and ideas for things to do. Their local knowledge made planning activities easy. 🚙 Getting Around: Most activities are a bit of a distance from the hotel, so we’d definitely recommend renting a car, ATV, or just using the bus for exploring. 💙 Overall: A clean, well-located hotel with warm, helpful staff—great value for anyone wanting a convenient base to explore the island. If we were to come to the island again we would choose a 4 star or higher for more comfort.

We are on a two week journey through parts of Greece and were hoping for so much more in a place to stay on Naxos. Hotel isn’t in an ideal location for dining and shopping and activity; great if you want to be away from that but otherwise not well located (across a busy road from the beach, on a main road unsuitable for walking, and a 15-20 euro taxi ride for only a mile to town.) Rooms are showing their age and nothing special about them at all - very basic and lacking amenities or character (other than odd layouts). It was only staffed on arrival (and all night) by a nice young lady who admitted that she was just the barkeep and couldn’t really help us with anything else. The worst was that our AC was not working, the barkeep said she couldn’t help, and someone she called to assist never showed up…so a very hot and restless night to try to sleep for sure! The next morning, the same young lady was still there and advised us that she was the only one there that day also…so said she still couldn’t help (and had no idea why nobody else came to help). Breakfast was adequate but very basic…ok but far from what we’ve come to expect on our other stops in Greece. With that, and before heading out with our guide for a few hour hiking tour, we decided to book a much nicer (and still very affordable) place in town. When we turned in our keys, there was someone new at the reception area who said the AC was fixed, that we should have borrowed a fan or something the night before (even though none was offered and their own worker didn’t suggest one), and that we’d still be charged full rate for all the nights we booked. No apology offered (a discount wasn’t expected but would have been nice for the unsleepable night). So glad we left…much happier now. So it’s not that I’d say don’t stay here…just know what you are getting. (For reference, we aren’t unreasonable people and most often leave kind reviews…or leave none at all if our review wasn’t going to be favorable. This one stood out and merited sharing our thoughts.)

A lovely ,immaculate, small hotel just outside the town. Excellent pool and grounds. Friendly staff. We liked the location which was a 15 minute walk along a boardwalk into the centre of town. If we had stayed in the centre we wouldn’t have had such a lovely pool, and it was a very quiet location at night. There is a noisy road in front of the hotel but that didn’t bother us.

A charming hotel with impeccable service. The rooms are excellent and comfortable (the kitchen is missing some appliances), but the staff's friendliness and willingness make up for it. The pool is great, overlooking the beach. Breakfast is served in the pool area and offers a variety of options. The hotel offers car rentals.

The location near Naxos Chora is good, although the trail is a bit challenging ( crossing the busy road and then beach path, not for good shoes ). The beds are great, the bathroom spacious, the shower even separate. The deluxe apartment we booked was supposed to have a kitchenette, but there was only a fridge and an electric kettle. No problem for us, but not correctly described. The location in the basement was ok considering the temperatures, but there was unfortunately no view. Breakfast was almost identical on all days, but ultimately ok and sufficient. The staff was not overly dedicated and not really friendly, except for the young lady at breakfast. The housekeeping was problematic. It was cleaned every day, but so wet that the floor was still wet in the evening. Twice the balcony door in the second room was not closed, which really is not possible! Throughout the stay, so-called abortion flies kept appearing in the room, possibly suggesting a hygiene problem. All in all quite a nice hotel with cutbacks. We probably wouldn't book it again.

Very clean, very welcoming staff and very good service. A little removed from the city center but really not far, (by the beach) which makes it more peaceful! Beautiful facilities, lunches with a good variety! I recommend it!

Chosen this solution for 3 days of relaxation on the island of Naxos in the week of mid-August. We didn't want to be downtown predicting the chaos due to the many tourists. So we opted for a hotel just outside the center, a stone's throw from the sea, with rooms overlooking the sea and swimming pool where you can relax, paying an important amount but certain that it was worth it. The well-made photos and positive comments on Booking (on which we have doubts of veracity at this point) have misled us. The property overlooks the street, the pool is adjacent to the same, and despite being close to the sea so much traffic annoys. Rooms are narrow and with questionable details and noticeable signs of ageing. The balcony is present but alas on the side view "parking" poorly maintained. the common area is reduced to the pool (there is very little green) equipped with a dozen umbrellas and related pairs of sun loungers, all very badly beaten.  The staff is courteous although the reception is often unguarded and you are forced to turn to the pool one. In the price, breakfast was included, to be consumed at the pool bar. Few tables but you never had to wait to sit down. Hearty breakfast but little variety on both savory and sweet and always identical, day after day... hot drinks with automatic machine to change immediately (bad quality of drinks) Positive notes: renting a scooter, which the hotel promptly found us (125 cc at an absolutely competitive rental price for 3 days), you can easily get to the beautiful center of Naxos or the most picturesque beaches of the island (which are located on the opposite side to the center).
