Residencial Vila Bela, Albufeira

A lovely little big place if that makes sense? There are no lifts, this wouldnt be great place to stay if u had some sort of disability. Too many stairs to climb. Staff were pleasant. There was an issue with the water/shower (it was cold) and a sewer smell in the bathroom. When I brought the issue to reception it was dealt with, always had a hot shower no matter what time of the day it was after that and the smell was gone. Happy days. The staff are very pleasant and polite. The beds are comfortable and spotless. There are no fridges or kettles in the room, they could do with a kettle. It says bed and breakfast but we didn't see or avail of this. They offer coffee at reception but it's not really nice. There is a nice sandwich place down the road that do lovely coffees and nice Toasties. There is road works at the moment (September 2025) that cannot be helped. There's a bar underneath the hotel and the pints are lovely. Overall if I came back again would I stay here? Yes I would. Why? Because I was comfortable here with my husband. It's not far from the center of the old town. The views if u get a balcony are stunning. When we were leaving the receptionist gave me a lovely little gift and apologies for the road works. The gift was very thoughtful there was no need to apologise. Id give it a 7/10.

5 star hotel experience! We are both very happy we booked our honeymoon here. Very accommodating and professional staff. The hotel lobby and rooms have an authentic Portuguese charm, beautiful tiles and design. The room is spacious and has everything we need and very clean! I would highly recommend this to anyone, guaranteed you will love it here!

Wow. Beautiful staff who took great care of us during our stay. We checked in late and the after hours check in process was a breeze. Cold fresh lemon water at reception was a lovely touch, especially after walking around in the heat. Rooms are basic but very clean and all you need really. We had an amazing view of the ocean and they gave us a little leaving bracelet which was such a nice touch and a great way to end our stay. Away from the hustle and bustle but the walk into town was lovely. Would 100 percent recommend staying here xxx

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view from the room and pool is absolutely breathtaking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with our early check-in and check-out requests. Highly recommended for a relaxing and scenic stay!

We made a short vacation to Portugal with my friend and decided to stay at Vila Bela and I have to say that this hotel exceeded my expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were provided with warm hospitality that just made me and my friend feel like we were right at home. The location is perfect! The hotel is situated in a peaceful area yet close enough to the vibrant parts of the city and ofc close to the water and beach. What I personally liked was the authenticity of the room showing off the country style because it was decorated with beautiful furniture. I also loved the stunning view on the rooftop where they also have a swimming pool, WHAT. The staff was also very friendly, attentive and ready to offer help. They recommended us many places to visit and things to do in the area. Overall, I liked this vacation experience. I like the place. The price was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And if some opportunity occurs, I’d be willing to visit this hotel again in the future. :)
