However, some visitors have experienced significant issues, including rooms with insects, poor handling of room changes, and frustrating check-in/check-out policies. Simply incredible. Very pleasant, beautiful, and comfortable atmosphere. I loved it and definitely want to return.
This is our second stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, our impression this time is significantly worse than during our first visit. The hotel is currently dominated by a large tour group from England. Almost all the sun loungers by the pool are reserved before 9:00 a.m. When we asked at reception how we could get a lounger ourselves, we were advised to place our belongings on a lounger before breakfast. We found this approach unsatisfactory. The atmosphere around the pool is hectic, more reminiscent of a crowded public swimming pool. Anyone seeking relaxation and peace will likely be disappointed at the moment. There are also noise disturbances at night. Even after 2:00 a.m., loud parties with music and many people are still taking place in some rooms, making a peaceful night's sleep impossible. On the positive side, the hotel's attractive design, the generally decent rooms, and the good breakfast are worth mentioning. However, due to the current situation, we can only give the hotel a limited recommendation.
We are very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that was full of insects—on the bed, on the walls, and on the floor. After we immediately reported the issue, we were only offered a temporary solution: to move to another room for one night and then change rooms again the following day. The replacement room was also not equivalent to the room category we had booked, particularly regarding the view. As the view was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, this was not an acceptable solution for us. What disappointed us even more was the way the reception staff handled the situation. Despite speaking with several employees, we did not feel that our concerns were taken seriously and were largely left to deal with the problem ourselves. Only later that evening did another staff member find an appropriate solution and provide us with a suitable room. We appreciate his efforts, but the overall experience remained negative. An insect-infested room, multiple room changes, lost vacation time, and unhelpful service are simply not what guests should expect from a hotel. Based on this experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.
