O restaurante Comida de Santo está super bem localizado, sendo uma opção prática e apelativa para quem procura comida de inspiração baiana na cidade. O espaço é bonito, confortável e bem conseguido, proporcionando um ambiente agradável para uma refeição tranquila. A equipa também merece destaque, sendo super simpática, acessível e atenciosa no atendimento. No entanto, aquilo que deveria ser o ponto forte da casa, a comida, acaba por ser a maior desilusão. Os pratos revelam falta de sabor, são insossos e ficam aquém da riqueza e intensidade típicas da cozinha baiana. Fica a sensação de que falta autenticidade, como se não houvesse a mão de quem realmente conhece e domina esta tradição gastronómica. É uma pena, porque o restaurante tinha tudo para ser uma excelente referência, mas a experiência acaba por não corresponder às expectativas.

The food was very good. I was at a table with 5 people and everyone loved it. Truly exceptional. Mrs. Flor's service was also outstanding. I will return many more times.

A Brazilian spot with a stylish decor and great service. It has a cool ambiance and feels like a lovely place for a date. We started the night with a sumo de maracujá and a caipirinha (obviously!), and both were refreshing and very well made. For starters, we tried the bolinho de mandioca com palmito and the bolinho de feijoada, out of curiosity. Both were just okay, although the accompanying sauce was quite nice with a bit of sweetness to it. For our mains, we went with the moqueca de camarão and the escondidinho de carne do sol. While they were comforting and tasty enough, they both felt a little bit flat. The desserts were a bit of a mixed bag too. We tried 'o melhor quindim da Europa' and it really was outstanding. We also had the pudim de aipim, but the texture didn't really work for us. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a good vibe, but the food wasn't quite where you want it to be.
