Herdade do Vau

This is the second time we've stayed at Herdade and we're always incredibly welcomed by everyone, especially Miguel. The host does the honors and the "family" dinner makes us feel like more than just customers.

Herdade do Vau is home. An incredible and super welcoming space for a great stay in the heart of the Alentejo region. The service is perfect, and the space and amenities are excellent, whether for a romantic weekend or a few days with family or friends. All the staff are incredibly friendly and extremely professional!

It's a unique establishment where peace takes on a whole new meaning. The farmhouse restoration is impeccable, the service is sophisticated yet personal, and the setting is simply unparalleled. The tranquility is all-encompassing. We played tennis on their court and took long hikes. We'll be back!

Very welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff, excellent meals, very quiet, excellent for a few days of vacation away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
