I want to congratulate the maintenance team, especially Àlex, Ramón and Jose Luis for their professionalism in maintaining the facilities of the Metropolitan Club, as well as their kindness in dealing with users.

I'm canceling my membership after six months, primarily due to the lack of basic cleanliness. The lockers, showers, and especially the men's restrooms are simply disgusting, and the trash cans are always overflowing. The only "cleaning" I see is someone collecting used towels, but nothing else is ever done. Another issue is the lack of regular maintenance: the water fountain has been out of service for about three weeks now… A complete lack of respect for the members…

My experience at Club Metropolitan has been very disappointing. The facilities aren't clean enough for a gym of this caliber and give the impression of a lack of maintenance and hygiene in several areas. Furthermore, the gym is usually completely overcrowded, especially during peak hours, making it very difficult to train comfortably and safely. Often, there are excessively long waits to use machines or find an open space. On the other hand, the service I received from the staff was terrible. The attention was unprofessional, and on several occasions, I felt neglected and that there was no real intention to help or resolve any issues. Frankly, for the price I paid, I expected much more in terms of cleanliness, organization, and customer service.

I have been a member for almost 10 years and have finally decided to cancel. The main reason is the constant saturation of the gym. Despite paying a monthly fee of €110, at peak times it is very difficult to follow any routine because the machines and spaces are permanently occupied. Many times you end up doing different exercises than you had planned simply because it is the only one that is free. What disappointed me the most, however, is not the overcrowding but the lack of consideration for long-term members. When I explained that I could not justify continuing to pay this fee due to the limitations I was encountering and asked if there was a cheaper rate with time restrictions, I was not offered any alternative. Nor was there any modality adapted to people who can train during the less crowded times. The only answer was that, if I ever wanted to come back, I would have to pay a registration fee of around €400 again. When I signed up 10 years ago, there were different rates depending on the times. Today it seems that there is only one fee, despite the fact that the main problem of the center is precisely the saturation in certain slots. I also consider some decisions made during the renovations in recent years to be questionable, such as placing most of the cardio machines in front of the exterior windows, which makes training especially uncomfortable in the summer. Some areas have been renovated, but others remain practically the same as a decade ago. The spa also does not always convey the feeling of maintenance and cleanliness that I would expect from a center of this level. Finally, I miss being closer to the members. After almost 10 years as a member, I left with the feeling that my seniority had no value and that no one had the slightest interest in understanding the reasons for my termination or trying to offer me an alternative to retain me as a customer. For those who can go when there are fewer people, it will probably be a good gym. For someone who can only go there during peak hours and values ​​closer contact with customers, my experience has been clearly disappointing.

The water fountain has been out of service for over a week now. Having to queue for water every day doesn't seem right to me for over €100 a month.

I see a lot of negative reviews, but my experience has been very good. The club is great and you can tell the whole team puts in a lot of effort. The receptionists put up with every shameless person…

I’ve been a member for 3 years, and unfortunately the experience has gradually declined despite continuous price increases. The free weight area is consistently overcrowded, especially during peak hours, making workouts frustrating and inefficient. On top of that, some of the coaches come across as arrogant or dismissive rather than helpful and welcoming. Another disappointing point is the excessive day-pass prices for friends or guests. It makes it difficult to introduce new people to the gym. Also, after several years of loyalty, the rewards and membership benefits feel very limited. The gym still has good equipment and potential, but management really needs to improve capacity management, customer experience, and member appreciation if they want to justify the rising prices.

I think the club is spectacular, especially how clean, new, and well-maintained everything is. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I 100% recommend training at this club; it has all kinds of amenities: a fitness room, a terrace for working out and sunbathing, a restaurant, a work area, and a spa for relaxing.
