Hotel Puerta de las Granadas

Very nice hotel which was very close to the Alhambra Gate. The room was spacious, and we had a private terrace. They also have a lovely roof garden with drink and food service and a fantastic view. The staff was very nice.

Charming hotel, great value for money. Well located, easy access for walks, some tourist attractions and public transport. Room 6: large, quiet (despite being behind reception), with a patio. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Gym. Friendly and helpful staff. Large bathroom, good shower. My only criticisms: There is no power outlet near the bed. Shower stall without a door - the "genius" of the modern decor that gets the whole bathroom wet. I would stay again.

The location, hospitality and facilities are all excellent. We loved the roof top bar/restaurant with its brilliant views of Alhambra and the Cathedral. Breakfast and dinner were faultless and the service attentive. Very happy to recommend Puerta de las Granadas.

The hotel is on a steep hill, but very close to the old town centre and the Alhambra. The bathroom of our room was large and boutique style. The access to Plaza Nueva cafes, transport and shops is superb. The breakfast room is in the basement and disappointing as there is a lovely roof terrace bar that would be a marvellous breakfast terrace too. The rest of the hotel is lovely, light and a delight.

Central location, friendly staff, and the option of a reasonably priced breakfast at the hotel's café, even if you book without breakfast included (I recommend the tostadas con mermeladas). Just steps from the Alhambra and the historic center, without being surrounded by the tourist crowds. Nice rooms and a great panoramic terrace. The only downside: they have a timer on the hair dryers (if they overheat, you have to wait for them to cool down before using them again), so this could be a problem for those with long hair. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Charming hotel. Charming, very comfortable, and clean. Modern room and bathroom. In the reception waiting area, they serve tea and exquisite little traditional pastries called "Piononos"—they disappear in a flash! 😃... Very friendly staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Excellent location just steps from one of the Alhambra's exit gates. Very close to bars, restaurants, and all kinds of shops and important streets like Gran Vía, the old town with its shops, the Cathedral, etc. We walked to the Albaicín and back to the hotel. Granada is a beautiful city, with a captivating charm, and this hotel is ideal. I will return....
