We've been coming back for many years and always enjoy it. The owners, Andre and especially Roland, do everything to make you feel comfortable. The property is superbly maintained with beautiful rooms and an exceptional breakfast. You arrive and immediately feel at home.

Our 5th vacation in the middle of paradise was PERFECT again. For those who haven't been there before: The location is fantastic (e.g., close to the Yumbo Center), yet the Birdcage Resort is an oasis of peace. We love being welcomed like family and appreciate the wonderful pool, the entire complex, the top-notch service, and the phenomenal breakfast. Everyone on the team there is fantastic, but we would like to particularly recognize Roland, the hard-working operations manager, who always has a positive eye, his lovely Mamita, the extremely dedicated and friendly Daniela (the "company's mom"), and Ralf – the best breakfast man: You, along with the entire team, guarantee a vacation where there's nothing to complain about, except that it takes too long to come back. The husband and I love this place, having stayed here the last 2 times we have visited Gran Canaria. We have stayed in a garden room each time, so if you are after a little privacy, I couldn't recommend them enough. They have everything you need. The staff are all amazing and very friendly. You will feel looked after at the Birdcage. We will be back, so if that isn't endorsement enough, I don't know what is!

The location is perfect, very central. The resort is general is very well kept, with a beautiful garden and good common facilities and pool. The staff are all very kind and helpful.

Our annual four-week holiday at the Birdcage is sadly coming to an end once again. It's simply a wonderful oasis of relaxation. The resort is centrally located, yet the absolute peace and quiet is truly impressive. The tropical gardens are simply beautiful. Over the years, the staff have become very dear to us. Every wish is fulfilled, and we always start the day with a smile. We're already looking forward to summer 2026.

A perfect vacation. The Birdcage is highly recommended. The rooms/bungalows are very clean, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything you need. The entire complex is beautiful and well-maintained. Jose, Mark, and Roland are very attentive, friendly, and helpful with any questions. Tom and Stefan are also absolutely fantastic hosts. There's nothing to complain about. You can simply relax and unwind. We would gladly spend our vacation at the Birdcage again anytime.

Feel at ease from the very first minute – a true paradise! We spent ten wonderful days at the Birdcage Gay Resort in April 2025 – and what can we say? It was simply fantastic once again! From the moment you arrive, you feel that special, relaxed atmosphere that immediately lets you breathe easy. We would particularly like to highlight the current team – because they make all the difference in such a personal resort. In our opinion, this combination is truly a stroke of luck: familial, warm, and at the same time absolutely professional. You immediately feel welcome with José, Mark, and Roland – like you're visiting old friends. Jóse delights with his humorous, open nature and always creates a good atmosphere, starting with breakfast. Mark, although he only recently joined, seems like he's been part of the team forever – charming, attentive, and always up for a joke. And Roland, with his many years of experience at this resort, brings a wonderful calm and professionalism to everything – unobtrusive, perfect. The perfect team on site. Jóse delights with his humorous, open nature and always a cheerful mood, even at breakfast. We also want to mention the housekeeping and gardening team: friendly, approachable, and always up for a quick chat. In short: Anyone who spends a few days at Birdcage gets not only sun, peace, and palm trees – but also the feeling of being truly welcome. And that's priceless. We've been coming back for years and have come to really appreciate what we have here.
