Hostal San Jorge

Great hostel right in the center of the Zaragoza old town. Overall really great value for the price! Pros: - AMAZING customer service, genuinely the best I've received in Europe. Everyone at reception was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to accomodate, especially Verssaline (sorry if that's how you spell it) - Location can't be beat (2 minute walk from the basilica!) and next to a bunch of restaurants and shops. Can't get better value for the price. - Rooms were pretty clean Cons: - The downside of it being right in Zaragoza old town center is the street is quite noisy at night, bring earplugs as it is very loud

Basic older style hostel. Clean and comfortable, excellent location. Quiet, easy to sleep. Good value for the price.

For the price, it is very central and clean. Not the most modern furniture, but new clean floor. Bathroom was ok but was missing was a bit more of amenities to shower. Staff was nice.

I've stayed here several times when my band plays giga in Zaragoza and I've always enjoyed this place, the rooms are comfortable and the temperature controls are straightforward. It's also in a great location across the road from Churrisimo and down the road from several cool bars.

Simple, clean and friendly hotel. We had a great time there. The staff was friendly and alway helpful. It is not a new pottery barn cutout hotel, all the same the people make it as does the price. We spent $141 for 3 nights with breakfast at El Cierzo. The breakfast was listed as continental, but consisted of 2 eggs, choice of meats (jamon, chorizo etc) fried potatoes, bread, coffee and juice. Location of hotel is great and it is a quiet and safe neighborhood. I look forward to staying there next time i visit the charming city Zaragoza.
