Roundhay Park, one of the largest city parks in Europe, lies about three miles northeast of Leeds city centre in LS8 and has a long-documented gay cruising tradition, particularly in the woods and lakeside areas reached from Mansion Lane near the Roundhay Fox. Activity is discreet and mostly after dark in the warmer months; by day the park is a popular family destination. As with all outdoor spots, UK public-sex laws apply — be considerate of other park users and take standard nighttime safety precautions.
