Hard Days Night Hotel

Terrible first night. The air conditioning doesn't work at all. Not even the circulating fan. The hotel staff offered a portable electric fan and a bucket of ice. They suggested opening the windows. Maintenance never showed up to fix the air conditioner. Our room temperature remained greater than 25°C (78-79°F) all through the first night. The nearby late night bars play loud and obnoxious thumping music and we had to shut the windows to drown out the noise. I couldn't sleep. It was miserable. We sought help multiple times beginning as early as 3:30 in the afternoon, and the only consolation we have been offered so far was a free hotel breakfast. The hair conditioner in the shower was empty. The water temperature in the shower abruptly fluctuates between ice cold and scalding hot. Disappointing, and would not recommend nor return to this hotel. I will update if we reach a satisfactory resolution.

The room was located on the fifth floor of their self-built building. There was no air conditioning, so we had to keep the windows open for ventilation when it was hot. The actual room differed significantly from the photos online; it seemed the photos showed better rooms downstairs. The balcony was also only so-so, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance were not ideal. Overall, the experience fell short of my expectations.

BEWARE! This hotel's desk staff is dishonest at best. Upon check in our room, 106, AC would cut off after about 1 minute with error code E06. We would turn AC off then back on and it would run for another minute then stop. Went to front desk and was told the circuit had been reset and would be up and running in 20 minutes Went to dinner and returned to AC still only work for a minute before stopping. The front desk was polite, apologized and said multiple rooms were experiencing AC issues and offered a fan. Was late so we took the fan and was able to slightly open the windows. Our first floor room was now open to all of the street noise and light. At 6am next morning went back to desk and was told the morning desk crew would be able to find us a room wit working AC when they arrived with a better insight into availability. At 9am was told by new desk crew that there were NO problems with the AC in the hotel, UNBELIEVABLE. Had just come from our room and AC still was stopped with E06 error. We decided to check out then a day early and was told the general manager would need to approve a refund for the one night remaining on our stay. Gowere since it was a holiday it would be the next day. The new desk denied that there was ever any issues with our AC. We did not ask for a refund for the night we had to spend with no AC and very little sleep with an open window to the busy street just outside our widow only for the night we would not be staying. Next day I checked my credit card and the full amount was charged including the day we did not stay. Be very wary of this hotel.

Very nice hotel! Staff is so nice and super accommodating

No air conditioning, it was broke down they gave us a fan the second night it was 30 degrees C in our room the hotel offered no water to drink or a meal in the restaurant (where the air was working) they just did nothing but say sorry. Would not go back to this hotel. It has very loud music playing late into the night.

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in many hotels around the world, always choosing 4 or 5-star properties. I can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in all my years of traveling. Stayed from May 17th to 19th 2026. From the moment I checked in, the AC in my room didn’t work. The staff refused to switch my room or call a manager. Instead, they suggested turning on a fan covered in inches of dust. I asked for another fan, and when they brought one, it was so loud I couldn’t sleep. Their solution? “Open the balcony door.” A shared balcony where anyone from the neighboring room could easily enter mine. As a woman traveling alone, that was absolutely unacceptable. I asked for water and was told to go across the street to buy some, as if a 4-star hotel doesn’t provide or even sell water. There was no room service either — every single thing required going downstairs yourself. After hours of being unable to sleep in a hot room with no air circulation, I went downstairs asking for help and requested a manager again. Instead of assisting me, I was told to either go back to my room or they would call the police and remove me from the hotel. They refused to refund my money, refused to call maintenance, and refused to involve management, leaving me with no option but to stay in an unbearably hot room. The next day, around 12 PM, maintenance finally arrived only to say the AC could not be fixed. At that point, I had enough. I went downstairs again and finally spoke to a manager. He was helpful, switched my room, and offered a complimentary drink. What made the situation even worse was discovering that none of the reception staff from the previous evening or overnight shift had informed him about anything I had gone through. No complimentary water. No proper assistance. No concern for guest safety or health after I explained I was struggling to breathe. Their only solution was to leave the balcony door OPEN in the middle of the night or face being thrown out by the police. To make matters worse, there was a blood stain on the curtains and hair in the sink. Absolutely disgusting. The only reason I booked this hotel was for the Beatles experience, but never again. And to top it all off, the maintenance employee accidentally left paperwork in my room showing just how many issues this hotel is dealing with. The one star is only for the location and the manager who was being kind .. BTW the manager stays at the hotel as well ! They could've just called him to help out but they refused and decided to solve the matter on their own with 0 help.

A charming team

Great Location. Poor service. Hot water would come and go. You would be taking a shower and water would go from warm to freezing then in a minute to burning. Poor room cleaning. You come into the hotel and they have fruit infused water where they are all empty except for the fruit. You ask about it and they say “yea someone needs to fix that. We walked into one of the elevators and there is water or a drink spilled on the floor with a caution sign on the floor. It would have taken less time to just clean it up but I guess the person who puts the sign out warning you about a slippery floor is not the same person who eventually, one day, might clean it up. There we no wash clothes in the room. We asked for some and none we given to us. Hard days night it right. The bed was like a hard board. Would find a different hotel next time I want to be in this part of the city.

The door lock often doesn't work properly. Also, the security box wouldn't lock, so I had it repaired.
