Can't comment on the rooms as it was an evening wedding reception I went to. Food was good and service was excellent.

We had our wedding day on 28th May 2026 and I couldn’t fault anything from start to finish it was an amazing day, constantly keeping us updated if any delays would be happening. To making sure the food is all okay before the DJ announced it was ready, we booked the venue 2 years in advance and constantly had wedding meetings to provide updates and couldn’t fault this process and make the 2 years fly by, all the staff are amazing and we will definitely be returning to the venue to have food as well. Thankyou so much for making our day so special and a special thankyou to the venue for allowing our beloved doggo attend for the wedding photos

Laura is an incredible hostess. We got married at Sitwell last year and she was so attentive to my wife, making sure she ate etc. We wanted for nothing and she had the most warm bedside manner. We went back today for an anniversary meal, she was looking after us again. We were incredibly pleased to see her. They even gave us our drinks for free as a congratulations for our anniversary.

We recently had my partners 60 birthday party there it was fab 👌 start to finish. The event lady made me feel welcome and helpful for my needs like table plan to picking menus, with the ladies on reception just being there at stressful times amazing. Food was a bang on the money 3 course dinner great choice of menu options, flavours & presentation was on current trends & fashion, thanks chef, all served by george and harry two lovely guys, because the guests needed some looking after in the lovely lounge near the entrance on this special surprise event to conclude all the fam together in one room so many memories Thanks shaun and family All in all its my 60th soon lets see what happens.

We had a meal in the bar and both really enjoyed our food. The service was also great.

Stayed at the Sitwell Inn for a quick overnight visit with friends in Chesterfield. The room was clean and comfortable, though the property does feel a bit outdated in places. The radiator heating made it somewhat difficult to control the room temperature overnight. There is a bar and restaurant on site, which was convenient after a long day of travel. Overall, it served its purpose well for a short stay — simple, clean, and practical if you just need a place to rest while in the area.

Went there for an engagement celebration they upgraded our room and it was lovely. We booked to have tea they gave us prosecco for the occasion aswell. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced same with the drinks. Thank you we will be returning

I had a fantastic 60th birthday party at the Sitwell arms. The room looked brilliant and all the guests were very impressed. Everyone enjoyed the buffet. Rhianna was excellent at making sure that everything ran smoothly. The DJ was great and played both requests and our playlist. Many people commented on how polite and helpful Harry W (one of the bar staff) was. Overall, we had an amazing evening and the staff were very professional and efficient.

Where to even begin. I originally booked our wedding in April 2024. Karen was extremely helpful and provided everything needed. After losing Neils mum, I felt like returning where his mum had helped me plan my wedding was too much and made the difficult decision to cancel our wedding in the UK. Fast forward to January 2026, I felt I needed to return. It was extremely emotional and Karen was amazing. She remembered who I was and got me booked in straight away. It was extremely emotional and Karen was truly fantastic. We re-booked there and then. Karen and the team were absolutely amazing given the short notice. They took everything we wanted onboard and created the most amazing venue for our wedding day. The night before we realised the venue styling team had provided a few things differently. Within seconds they spoke to the team and it was sorted immediately. We stayed the night before in the Renishaw Suite which was absolutely gorgeous. The team allowed us downstairs to add our own finishing touches and allow the smaller bridesmaids time to practise their aisle walk. On the day my wedding co-ordinator, Laura came to find me and ensured everything was perfect and ran smooth. She was extremely attentive and provided an amazing service. The day was absolutely magical and everything I could possibly wish for. The honeymoon suite was provided to me early on the wedding day when the team realised I needed some time alone because I was overwhelmed by the chaos in our other suite with so many bridesmaids and people in there. The honeymoon suite is just stunning. Sally and team at The Stitch Studio and Born Again Boutique did all my dress alterations within 2 weeks after being let down by my original seamstress. They personally fetched it to me on the wedding morning, freshly steamed too. The grounds are absolutely spectacular and perfect for photographs. The play area and outdoor seating was ideal with the beautiful weather and for the children. I honestly cannot recommend The Sitwell Arms and the amazing team enough. I just wish I could do it all again 💓 A massive thank you to Karen, Laura, Sally (and bridal seamstress) and the whole team at The Sitwell Arms. You provided the wedding we could only dream to have.
