Popped in here for a coffee. Lovely place will return it is a hidden gem and kind of off the beaten track. Based within the George hotel on Newmarket road. Wonderful staff

Booked a perfume experience here and it included the afternoon tea in the package. The food was absolutely delightful with fresh ingredients and lovely flavours. Every staff member we met was kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Special shout out to the chefs who worked very hard to accommodate one of our party with complex eating requirements. They went above and beyond providing delicious treats similar to everyone else's food and communicated with me prior to attending to make sure all was perfect on the day. 100% would come back here for food again! 🍲

We booked the Newmarket Suite for a board meeting. The event ran so smoothly, the food was amazing and the staff were fantastic, so thank you so much. We look forward to booking again in the future.

Attended an event for 50 women and the staff were friendly, helpful, calm and courteous although they must have been working very hard behind the scenes. The food was delicious and a slight hiccup with my meal was handled professionally and quickly. I have coeliac disease so am not easy to cater for. A most enjoyable evening

Sophie, events manager and her team always welcome us at the George. Today we celebrated 30 years of selfless volunteer service by our Branch Chair Malcolm. The buffet lunch with hot chips was fresh and plentiful as ever. The cruncy but soft broownies wete divine. Thank you to the George and thank you for supporting the work of the MND Asssociation by extending your hospitality.

Absolutely superb hotel. Highly recommend it. Only dropped a star on the room as some people would expect a fridge, water and iron/ironing board to be standard. However, anything we requested was provided immediately, the staff are amazing... friendly, welcoming and efficient. The bar/bistro/restaurant are comfortable and relaxing and the menus for breakfast, brunch, snacks/light bites & dinner are extensive and cater for all tastes. Free parking and a lovely little outside seating area. Walking distance to the city, castle and cathedral. We rarely visit the same place twice but I would definitely consider a return visit here. Fabulous!

Good size car park, friendly staff, good food and rooms kept to a good high standard. I recommend booking to have the breakfast included as one of the best I've had. Also had an evening meal which didn't disappoint with a nice selection of beverages. I would certainly stay again.

Just had a lovely couple of nights stay for our47th wedding anniversary. We had the suite which was up some narrow steep stairs but we'll worth it for the large room and roll top bath, perfect. We had a meal both nights in the restaurant and the food was excellent and we aso had a couple of complimentary Glasses of wine for our anniversary. We would also like to thank Sophie and Michelle in the restaurant for looking after us and being so nice and friendly as all the staff were. Will definitely return.
