Last verified: November 2026. The honest summary: cruising in Santiago means indoor venues. There are two men-only bars on the Bellavista strip and three saunas. The porn cinemas closed in 2019, and in 2026 the authorities launched a public crackdown on sex in the city's biggest park. Outdoor cruising here carries a real risk of a criminal complaint.
Cruising bars
- Bar 105, Bombero Núñez 105, Bellavista: a long-running men-only fetish and cruise bar with a dark room. It has close to 500 Google reviews (4.5), and theme and dress-code nights are on 105fetish.cl.
- TOM House, Antonia López de Bello 49, Bellavista: a men-only bar with cruising areas, opened in 2025. It's open late on Friday and Saturday (about 22:00/23:00 to 04:30). Events are on tomhouse.bar and @tomhouse.cl.
- Cine Nilo and Cine Mayo (Monjitas): closed by municipal order on 31 May 2019. Roxy, Capri, Plaza and Apolo are also gone.
- Bunker, once the big club on the strip: permanently closed.
- Apps are the main way men meet here. Police and Movilh have warned about robberies set up through dating apps, so meet in a bar first and don't invite strangers to your hotel straight away.
- Take a taxi or Uber home from the door. Street theft around Pío Nono at night has been in the news.
- Free rapid HIV tests are available at ACCIONGAY (San Ignacio de Loyola 165), AHF Chile (Paseo Estado 360) and public health centres. For PEP, go to a hospital emergency department within 72 hours.
Both are a few minutes' walk from the drag bars and Club Soda, so they fit into a normal night on the strip.

Outdoors: why we don't list parks
On 22 August 2026, Parquemet (which runs Cerro San Cristóbal), the Carabineros and Providencia's municipal guards announced they would file criminal complaints for public indecency in the park. National media reported they were using about 230 cameras, drones and thermal imaging. Neighbours have complained about Parque Forestal for years, and older sources mention Cerro Santa Lucía. With enforcement this active, we don't list any outdoor spot in Santiago. If you're approached by police, stay calm, carry ID and ask for a lawyer if you're detained.
