Service was top notch! What a unique hotel, great feel to it. You’ll love the location

Stayed here for 2 nights. The Broadview Hotel is a solid option if you want to stay on Toronto’s east end, but go in with realistic expectations. The hotel has a nice boutique feel, the lobby is stylish, and the staff were friendly. The location on Queen Street East is excellent if you want to explore Riverside and Leslieville. There really aren’t many hotel options in this part of the city, so that’s one of its biggest advantages. That said, the rooms were pretty meh. They’re clean and functional, but nothing special, especially for the price. One tip: avoid the 6th floor. The rooftop restaurant is directly above it, and you can hear chairs being dragged around and other noise from above, especially in the evenings. Overall, this isn’t a 5 star hotel by any means, but it’s also not a bad stay. If you specifically want to be in the east end, it’s one of the better choices. Just keep your expectations in check and request a room below the 6th floor if you can.

Came here for a birthday lunch on the rooftop patio, ended up staying for a few hours because the service and DJ were fantastic. Thanks Juliana and Nigel for the great service and hope to see DJ GQ back again!

Enjoyed some food and drinks at the rooftop. Henry (Hung) was awesome, took the time to make sure we were okay, shared some jokes, and made us really welcome. He was a nice touch to an awesome evening.

The restoration work, preserving the original brick and woodwork while integrating polished brass and bespoke mid-century furniture - is handled with surgical attention to detail. It is a clean, sophisticated aesthetic that feels both rooted in history and sharply contemporary. I spent the evening on the Rooftop Terrace, which offers one of the most tactical views of the Toronto skyline. The workflow behind the bar is efficient and professional, even during the peak evening rush. The cocktail program is balanced and precise, favoring classic builds executed with top-tier components. The entire experience is a study in maintaining high standards. Whether you’re staying in one of the meticulously designed suites or just holding a meeting in the lounge, everything functions exactly as it should. It’s an elite, highly disciplined space for those who demand quality and a refined atmosphere without the unnecessary noise of the Financial District. Highly recommended.

Great dining options - rooms have strange windows at head height so pretty dim

Sensational boutique hotel set in a funky neighborhood.

Sometimes my room wasn’t cleaned for two days, and when I call the front desk for room service it can take a very long time. So found this not the best. My cards also stopped working at one point during the stay so couldn’t get into my room. Had to request clean towels at some point too. Not a cheap hotel so expected better service- when it was there it was good but inconsistent.

The Rooftop Bar - one of the best rooftops in the city and one of the few on the east side. The food is delicious, I highly recommend their pastas, and the staff is very professional and friendly. Always make a reservation since it’s a busy rooftop, you can find it on Open Table as “Rooftop Bar at the Broadview Hotel”
