Days Inn by Wyndham Carson City

The property needs to be updated. The outside of the building the walls are peeling and some of the stucco is coming off. The building needs to be painted. The popcorn ceilings obviously are very old. The furniture in the room is in disrepair. All of it is scuffed up and scratched. The chair for the table with stained and had hair on it. The shower had hot water and the water pressure was decent. I was checking in about an hour early and the gentleman at the front desk said he was not charging me in early check-in fee. Honestly this hotel would be a better value if it was about $60 a night.

It’s what you expect

Booked two rooms. Two separate confirmation numbers, Refundable. The hotel is not honoring the second confirmation to be refunded but did allow the first. With conversation with hotel staff, Management was unwilling to call back and continued to tell staff no. I would not consider booking this hotel as management is unwilling to be present.

We were quoted $614.64 for 7 days and when we went to the property they tried to charge us an additional $250. When we pre paid for the room for 7 days the guy who helped with the reservation new all the facts about us and said the total cost would be $624.64 and when we arrived and couldn't afford the additional $250 they charged us $79 for cancelling 1.5 hours after we reserve the room because we didn't have the $250 more they wanted That's fraudulent business and nobody should be treated like that we are senior citizen and my wife is disabled.personaly I think they should be shut down because they are fraudulent business

Room outdated

I paid for a couple of my clients to stay here about 4 months ago. They reported bed bugs, horrible staff, and they complained of not being allowed to have breakfast. I called the property the next day to see if there was a way to resolve this issue in some type of way, and they said “ sir we apologize for any inconvenience caused by this, but we regret to inform you that you do not qualify for any further assistance or refund. Over all very disappointed and do not recommend staying here.

Amazing people and service. I will be returning to this location anytime I'm in town. Came in again and did an early check in. They are always so helpful and welcoming.

Clean rooms ,could use up dating, low toilet low counter top but doable , fairly priced

Housekeeping during my one-week stay was outstanding. Everything was impeccably clean and thoughtfully maintained each day. The staff was courteous and professional, and their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. It genuinely reminded me of the high service standards we used to see before COVID. I really appreciate the effort.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com for $120, and it was one of the worst lodging experiences of my life. The nightmare started at check-in. The reception area smelled aggressively like Pine-Sol, almost suffocating. We waited over 10 minutes ringing the desk bell before anyone showed up — no apology, no acknowledgment of the delay, nothing. Then we got to the room. The smell hit us instantly. It wasn’t “clean.” It was chemical. Overwhelming bug spray. My nostrils started burning within minutes. My kids began coughing. It felt like the room had been fogged with pesticides and sealed shut. I went back to the front desk. The staff actually confirmed the smell. They showed us other rooms — same issue. Every room reeked of chemicals. We handed back the keys and left because staying there would have been unsafe for my family. They still charged me the full $120 and are now refusing to refund. This isn’t about preference. This is about basic health and safety. If your cleaning process causes respiratory irritation, something is seriously wrong. Avoid this place unless you enjoy paying to breathe pesticide.

Horrible place to stay, horrible staff and dirty as hell.
