Quality Inn East Stroudsburg - Poconos
Many visitors praise the friendly staff and convenient location right off Route 80, with some finding the rooms comfortable and clean. I will not recommend anyone staying here. The bathtub was dirty and the shower leaked . The floor was all wet . The room smelled terribly. There was garbage under the beds . The sink had foodstuff in it . The lights were very dim like they were trying to hide the dirtiness of the room. I had a 2 nights booking but left after 1 night and when I spoke to the manager she had a very very nasty attitude . She refused to dismiss the charges for the second night. What a horrible hotel. They should change their name from Quality Inn . There's nothing if quality there.
Where to begin with this dump. ZERO stars if Google would allow it. It clearly has not been cleaned since its inception. Mold in the bathroom everywhere. Literal "excrement" on the chair. Covered in dust. Dried food on the floor, carpet covered in God knows what. They have automatic air freshener sprayers on the ceiling in the hallways that smells like perfume and death. Pillows are like bricks. We were traveling with our friend who has a disability and there is no elevator, and no hand rails in bathroom. There was literally NO QUALITY at this Quality Inn. See photos. Shame on this "hotel" for charging what they do, and for how disgusting and unkept it is. Save your money and go anywhere else but here.
The only thing this place has going for it was location (for me). Rooms, eh, needs to be updated. Maybe this is my fault but I didn't realize there were no elevators. There are stairs that lead to a dead ends. The lady at check-in wasn't very helpful in all of this. I couldn't wait to leave. East Stroudsburg was nice though. Edit: I think of this place when I want to come back to visit the area and I'm reminded of when we used the microwave in the room and the electric went out. Don't stay here.
We got exactly what we paid for, King size bed, non smoker and the hotel smells very good, the service makes me feel special. You need to come see for yourself.
