The room was old and outdated and you could smell mold. The bed was horrible. We barely slept. There was no heat and the bathroom floor was ice cold. There was a disc soap but no other toiletries provided. The desk attendant didn't even ask how our stay was.

Horrid, filthy place, full of mold. The room stank, the beds were uncomfortable with the springs sticking out. Don't think the pool works because it doesn't.

BATES HOTEL. DONT BOTHER. The location is great. Unfortunately this place has to go. They own it for over 25 years and update is needed asap. The smell is horrendous and the furniture looks like it's collapsing. It's why reservations is easy there dying for guest.

Disgusting motel. Room 103 was the first room they gave us and we could not believe ours eyes and nose. Mold everywhere. Wall paper coming off the walls. Room stunk of stale smoke and mildew. Sink is held up with a table leg. They put us in another room which also stunk of stale smoke. We tolerated it for one night and even though we paid for two nights we left after staying only one night because we all had headaches and sore throats from breathing in the mold and stale smoke. Do not and I repeat DO NOT stay at this disgustingly dirty, filthy motel!!!! I would rather sleep in a pig pen!!

Was the perfect, cozy little place for my wife and I to lay our heads. Located perfectly in between our destinations. Not too far from the falls and still close to civilization for whatever one needs. Owner was a wonderful gentleman, very polite and helpful. Room was clean and had microwave, mini fridge, nice TV. Will stay again.

The place is excellent! It's well located, everything is central! The staff is very friendly and attentive. And above all, it's very clean; the bathroom is spotless, and the rooms are clean.
