Arctic Igloo Tatil Köyü

I stayed for 3 days and was so happy! I finally saw the beautiful aurora borealis. The glass igloo was also very clean and beautiful, and the staff were very friendly. I had a great time.

This stay was completely disproportionate to the price of 1500 per night, with obvious problems in service and safety. I strongly advise anyone considering booking to think carefully. 1. Almost no staff after 9 PM, posing a safety hazard. After checking in, I found that it was virtually impossible to contact any staff after 9 PM. The entire resort seemed to be "unattended." If you experienced discomfort, equipment problems, or even emergencies at this time, there was no one to handle them promptly, making me feel extremely unsafe. This is a serious problem for a resort at this price. 2. Key information not explained beforehand, lack of transparency. Even more unacceptable is that this "no service after 9 PM" situation was not mentioned in advance during booking and check-in. If I had known this management style beforehand, I would never have chosen this place. Such a lack of transparency regarding important information is extremely unfair to consumers. 3. Even basic needs were refused. During my stay, I only asked for some hot water and an extra blanket—basic services in any normal hotel—but these were directly refused without any explanation or alternative, and the attitude was rather indifferent. 4. Price and Experience Severely Disproportionate At 1500 yuan per night, the service and management were subpar. There was no "vacation" experience whatsoever; instead, it was inconvenient at every turn, resulting in a very poor overall experience and extremely low value for money. In short, this isn't just a matter of poor service; it also involves basic issues of safety and transparency. We advise other guests to thoroughly research before booking to avoid paying a high price for a terrible stay.

We stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful time. Everything was superb! The food was delicious, the igloos were beautiful, and allowed a full view of the aurora while staying inside and warm. The staff were so nice and helpful. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

I stayed here expecting a premium “resort” experience to match the $1,500/night price. While the ability to watch the Aurora comfortably from bed is undeniably special, everything else fell far below expectations and frankly, below basic hospitality standards. For this price point: - Breakfast was extremely limited (tater tots, beef sausages, eggs, bread, and coffee only). No vegetarian options, no tea, and no variety. Despite the limited spread, breakfast wasn’t ready even at 8.15am on the first day due to which we had to eat outside as we were getting delayed for our tour. Also, breakfast only starts at 8am which is very late for people heading out on early tours. - Housekeeping was nonexistent during our 3-night stay. Trash was never collected. - The room had only two bath towels for two guests. No hand towels, face towels, or bath mats. - WiFi was unreliable to the point of being unusable. - There is zero in-room entertainment - no TV, no games, nothing to do during long winter nights. - Dinner options are severely limited, overpriced, and not vegetarian-friendly. This is especially problematic given how remote the property is, forcing guests to drive into town for food. At this price, these gaps are unacceptable. The property should not market itself as a “resort” when it fails to provide even basic amenities and service. If Aurora viewing is the only differentiator, there are far more cost-effective ways to experience it without compromising comfort and convenience. Beautiful concept, but very poor execution.

We stayed here 2 nights for our anniversary in March of 2026. It cost about $3,000 which is pretty steep but the views of the Northern Lights were worth it. Breakfast was included. Not overly impressed with the Korean hot pot dinner. Check out the views of the Northern Lights!!

We were so unbelievably excited for this stay. I expect a lot more for the price I was charged. At $1500 a night, you should at least expect to have a towel to step out onto from the shower, especially considering how cold the floors were. No hand towels. The worst thing was the light pollution. They had twinkly lights lining the drive which I agree makes sense, but it also takes away from the experience after dark. We were warned that it was close to a residential area after booking and the local person who warned us was not wrong. There are neighborhood lights so you do not get the true dark skies experience if you’re expecting that. There was very light Aurora, but at no time were we notified. Instead, my friend stayed up all night looking for it. Dinner was way overpriced, and it was kind of offensive that we had to go get our own water in paper cups but then the tip options were pretty high in a place that at minimum costs $50 per person. The igloo is beautifully designed, but they have such obstructed views that it really took away from the experience. We were in the back row and could see all of the other igloos. There was snow and ice on the top of the igloo and it just was so much less than expected. They got so many things right but so many things wrong. It is not luxury, but it is a luxury price tag. Proceed with caution.

They don’t have clothes hangers, microwave in the room. Also there’s no service provided at all after 8pm, so you are on your own.

What truly makes it worth the hefty price tag is the cabin's location. We were fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights every day without having to go out looking for them, all from the comfort of our warm bed. To be specific: this happened from December 29, 2025, to January 3. The good: Location Easily visible Northern Lights Beautiful complex Friendly service from the hosts The hot pot they serve is truly delicious… What could be improved: Breakfasts. They served the same thing every morning, and while it wasn't bad, the eggs and meat tasted very artificial. Improvements to the cabin: They should add a closet or cabinet for storing and hanging clothes. A coffee station is also needed, as well as bath mats, bathrobes, and more hand towels. A mini-fridge would be a great addition. More information about activities in the area would be helpful. If the person assisting you doesn't know, they could provide a flyer or magazine with this information. For the restaurant area, a good ventilation system is essential. If you're going to have breakfast or lunch there, be prepared for your clothes to reek of spices, and the smell won't go away for several days, which is quite unpleasant. We had to ask for room cleaning twice. There needs to be better coordination to ensure the cabins are clean and fully equipped daily. Come on, for the price, I don't think they'd have any problem making improvements. Thanks!

We had an absolutely magical stay with the resort ! The hospitality was top-notch, and the team went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. It was the perfect setting for a very special trip for us. I can't recommend staying here enough—truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. Thank you for everything

The glass igloo is as advertised, and when you see the aurora from your bed, it’s quite magical. But as a hotel/resort, it’s just missing a lot!! For context, we paid $3k to stay 2 nights. The good things - amazing experience seeing aurora (one out of two nights there) - front desk staff was very nice - bed was quite comfortable - the reindeer tour the hotel helped set up was great. recommend The bad - especially considering the $1500 nightly rate - NO HOUSE KEEPING?? - room had no slippers or bathrobes?? - room has no vanity kits like qtips - breakfast was super minimal.. scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and frozen tater tots. Come on… a $200 hotel has better breakfast than this (but the toast you guys use are good) - no one to help with bags. Sounds spoiled, but any hotel that’s 4-star would have this. Saw a bunch of guests dragging their suitcases through the fresh snow 100 yards All in all - we thought the aurora viewing was quite special. I hope more people get to experience it. but until the “resort” experience actually resembles even a decent hotel, I just can’t recommend it to people

I had a truly relaxing and wonderful stay at this aurora glass cabin in Alaska. The facilities were excellent, and the cabin was cozy and warm, making it very comfortable even in the cold weather. Every night, I could lie in bed and enjoy a sky full of stars through the glass ceiling, and I was lucky enough to see the aurora and even a few shooting stars on some nights. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hot pot offered at the hotel was also delicious and a pleasant surprise. This stay was truly a once-in-a-lifetime journey for me, and I hope to come back again in the future.

A very warm and welcoming place to stay in Alaska. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from our room — being able to lie in bed and watch them was an unforgettable experience. The value for money was excellent. Breakfast was delicious, the activities were well organized, and the staff were friendly, professional, and thoughtful. Truly a memorable stay.
