Although this is marketed as a five-star resort, it feels quite expensive considering the limited amenities offered. Of course, the main reason for booking is the view, but seeing the Northern Lights is never guaranteed, which was the case during our stay. That said, the scenery was still beautiful and the environment was peaceful and tranquil. Overall, however, the value does not fully match the price. We don’t regret the experience—it was a bucket-list stay—but it’s not something we would likely do again. The glass igloo itself was beautiful, clean, spacious, cozy, and surprisingly warm. It also has shades that can be pulled down at night for privacy, which was a nice touch. The hot pot dinner available for an additional fee was reasonably priced and very enjoyable. The quality of the meat, seafood, vegetables, spices, and sides was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was also tasty and made with good ingredients, though the selection was somewhat limited to items such as eggs, tater tots, toast, sausage, juice, and fruit. In the room, complimentary water and a few snacks were provided. However, considering the price of the stay, it would make sense to include a coffee or tea machine in the room—especially since coffee and tea are not available 24/7 anywhere else on the property. Lastly, the customer service was phenomenal. The restaurant staff were professional, courteous, attentive, and responsive. They were also quick to reply to text messages we sent after hours for additional needs. We would consider staying here again if the price were significantly lower and more amenities were added in the future.

Me , my husband and our 9yo just stayed at the artic igloo resort. The igloo was really nice and front desk staff kind. But to be listed as a resort there is much more that needs to be done. No floor mat ro step on after leaving shower and breakfast was really minimal. I agree when other people say a 200usd can serve a better breakfast. The croissant bread was delicious. We stayed 2 nights and could see aurora 1 night. Amazing experience. But yes, for 1500usd a night some more things should be done. Drinking water as courtesy and more hot beverages in the morning, better breakfast and at least a floor mat. Also I requested housekeeping but she didn't come.

We stayed for 3 days and were incredibly lucky to see the aurora borealis every single day—it was absolutely beautiful! 😍 Thank you. There was also free breakfast, and the glass igloos were very clean.

So happy! 🥳 The glass igloo was so beautiful, and the luckiest thing was being able to see the aurora borealis. Being able to enjoy a hot pot meal in this icy, snowy place was so satisfying. The staff were also very friendly and approachable.

The biggest issue is not about luxury, but about basic guest support. The property is located in a very remote area, yet there are no late-night food options, no vending machines, and no assistance provided when guests are left without access to food or transportation after hours. When we reached out, the response was simply that these services were not included, with no effort to help or offer alternatives. For a property charging resort-level pricing, this level of service is disappointing. At minimum, guests would expect some form of support in unexpected situations, especially in such an isolated location. If you are considering staying here, make sure you plan everything in advance — including food — because once services close, you are essentially on your own.

Our weekend family adventure was truly spellbinding. We witnessed a spectacular display of auroras rippling across the sky in vivid colors, ever changing before our eyes. Rooms are modern, warm, clean, and comfortable. The glass ceiling and walls were perfect for exciting night views. The staff was kind and interactive. The reindeer were fun to see on the property, too. The remote location is perfectly dark and quiet in the evening. Make sure to bring your own drinks and snacks; the nearest store is a mile down the road. Trip of a lifetime!

We really enjoyed our stay at Arctic Igloo Resort. The main guy at the front was wonderful, customer service is very responsive. The only reason I give service 3 stars is because there is only one dinner option and with being outside of fairbanks with not much else around it sucks not having the variety especially if you're staying multiple nights. Also everything is quite over priced, there are other igloo places that offer more at a lesser cost. The one biggest issue i had with cost is going to the hot springs, we paid close to $300 for the 2 of us just to find out the hot springs for 2 people is only $40. So whats the other 260 going to the shuttle? Like I said overpriced but that being said we still enjoyed our time there.
